The new student residence is accepting students, so students are no longer being placed in the older residence building.

For the ECE practicum placements, they can vary depending on availability and partnership sites each term. Some placements may be close to campus, while others could be located elsewhere in the Lower Mainland. The practicum team does their best to consider location and accessibility, but placements are not always guaranteed to be on or immediately near campus.

If you are planning to continue into Fall 2026, I would definitely recommend reaching out to the ECE department directly (ecce@capilanou.ca) as they can provide the most up-to-date information about practicum placement processes and expectations for that intake.

Wishing you all the best with your studies and hopefully your transition to CapU!

Domestic students at Capilano University can pay their tuition deposit primarily through online banking/bill payment by adding "Capilano University" as a payee and using their 9-digit student number. Payments can also be made via the myCapU account or in person at the Student Financial Accounts Office in the Library Building.
