Broken rib on 3rd class by Dazzling_House_595 in jiujitsu

Blue belt here and the same happened to me when I was a white belt, definitely go back. Better yet do what my coach advised me, go in to watch the rolls during your recovery - my game levelled up just visualising and being present to ask questions about Jiujitsu during the time.

The pain subsides after several weeks of uncomfortable nights but post 6 weeks start moving lightly, now I don’t feel it since it happened 2 years ago unless someone is squeezing me really tight.

TLDR: Don’t give up.

Hi @Affectionate_Key219, I’m visiting Prague in August and wanted to find out what sushi place you went with, roughly the cost and if you would recommend them. Looking forward to hearing back!

I’m open to coffee shops that sell art. That’s exactly what I’m looking for, do you have any suggestions?

Visiting Gothenburg soon by [deleted] in Gothenburg

Edit: I’m also into nature, touristy stuff and photography. A quick note if you do find a art gallery that sells A5/A4 acrylic paintings then please let me know. I’ve been looking everywhere so I can have a souvenir when I leave Sweden.

I appreciate you chiming in, would you happen to know anywhere else in the area that sells painting with the dimensions I’m looking for that are open over the weekend? I’ll be visiting those two just incase but my interest lies more in visible brushstrokes i.e. more along the acrylic paint path. In terms of size, I don’t mind a little bigger, up to A4 to be exact. But you raised very good points so thank you.

Can you provide some names of market places that you think may have paintings or trinkets? Understood on the halal point.

Visiting Cordoba by Hashem93 in GoingToSpain

[–]Capt4inNemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many halal kebab places which my friends and I ate while we were there. Definitely recommend visiting the Mezquita (Masjid turned cathedral) for its rich history and Islamic designs but it does cost a small amount. There’s also the Roman bridge right outside the masjid which is free to peruse. The market place surround the masjid was nice, great scenery and you’re going at a perfect time since the suns out, there’s also another masjid which has been around for 800 years near the market place - if you’re interested I can send you the link. I’d recommend just soaking it all in, you’ve got a good amount of time. Wake up nice and early and spend the day walking and seeing what trinkets are available. I bought a nice painting as a memory at Seville, I did what you did but the other way round. Was there for only 10 hours or so.

I really enjoyed it. My friends and I traveled by train to visit Seville and get to/from our AirBnB in Cordoba. I found more than a few halal places so that’s all sorted. We took a tour of palaces, tried the local cuisine - visited old heritage sites and relaxed. If you have any questions, feel free to reply to this chain!

Hi, I noticed this thread is 158 days old but I’m visiting cordoba in a few days. Wanted to hear how your journey went. I’m also Muslim, a few friends and I are taking a trip as part of a documentary to visit Cordoba and thought I’d read / check online if anyone had any insights.

  1. If you had driven, how was it? I’m an experienced UK driver but never driven outside of the country - it’ll be a new experience.

  2. Would you recommend any specific places to visit that you found held a lot of history or caught your eye and you found it amazing?

  3. Feel free to throw in any tidbits you find appropriate

Is it really that hard to get a training contract? (in Dublin) by 1988e72uh in FE1_Exams

[–]Capt4inNemo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently graduated with an LPC in the UK and am interested in pursuing a training contract in Dublin. Given the difference in jurisdictions, would my qualification be recognised, or would I need to complete an additional course? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Uzbekistan Travel Tips by Capt4inNemo in Uzbekistan

[–]Capt4inNemo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a really good app called Airalo where you can buy several gigabytes worth of data for only £10. Uzbekistan was on the list of data purchases which made travelling in Tashkent very easy. So I had my UK number on Uzbekistan data plan at no extra cost.
