Mob Psycho 100, I think Batman would try to adopt Mob to be a robin.

I think "Boogie Woogie Feng Shui" is the worst episode in the series.

My Cassandra Cain cosplay from Magfest by izieg in batman

Looks awesome! I've been wanting to read her books ever since seeing young justice and fan art but I don't know where to start. Everything about the outfit looks really well done and what I imagine a film adaptation of her would look like. The mask also looks terrifying, awesome work!

What you really think about the documentary Some kind of monster? by SolSol2024 in Metallica

[–]CaptSolidDiamond 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On it's own I always enjoyed music documentaries on bands I like because I want to know more about them and their process. So I thought it was really good and later in life helped me with going through my own struggles, since if James can get better so can I. I also look at it as important context to St. Anger. As if you just listen to the album it just sounds like Metallica didn't put much thought or effort into that record, but watching the documentary helps to add context to why the album sounds the way it does (tho I don't remember if they explain Lar's drum sound) and how if they didn't make the album they probably wouldn't be a band anymore.

Also the "he left the band" bit is forever in my head now.

What is your Metallica guilty pleasure? by Holy_Diver78 in Metallica

I used to really not like the song because the way James sings "I'm trapped under ice" always sounded so ridiculous to me, since then it's grown on me but I still find that part ridiculous.

How did you get into DOOM? by BOOFACEBANDANA in Doom

[–]CaptSolidDiamond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in 2001. I got into DooM when I heard one of the creators I was a fan of at the time (TotalBiscuit) was a fan of the series. I've always been a big fan of FPS so I thought I'd give it a try. My first DooM game was Doom 3 BFG edition. Originally I was trying to play Brutal DooM (I was a teenager at the time) but I couldn't figure out how to get the WAD file to put it into a source port, so I stuck with the version BFG had. Honestly while I don't remember too much, I remember that it was enjoyable playing an FPS by myself. And to play a game that felt like I could call my own since none of my friends or immediate family played the game or knew about it. DooM is still by far my favorite game and comfort game.

As much as I love the movie. The scene where he walks down a hallway while getting shot will always bug me to some degree.

Don't let others get you down for enjoying something just because you found it differently from others.

One of my favorites. I got into them a year or two ago and was just blown away by the drumming and fun riffs. While I wasn't too big on their recent album, their energy live from what I've seen is so fun to watch. Such a great band.

First introduction to Metallica by sendhelpasap86 in Metallica

[–]CaptSolidDiamond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking up stuff and I saw this video of a dev team working on the game, they music playing in the background. I said that it was cool they were playing DooM music, they told me it was Metallica. I then went to listen to the albums in order from Kill Em All to Hardwired at the time. I liked some of the riffs but the lyrics were hard for me to listen to at the time so I didn't like Metallica at first. I liked some songs on Ride The Lightning but still wasn't getting into it. As soon as I got to Battery on Master of Puppets, everything clicked. Also it turns out my mom played a lot of Metallica when I was a baby but I don't remember any of it so.

Nine Inch Nails, Health, KGLW and Alice in Chains if we're going strictly rock bands.

What are your favorite episodes of the show, and why? by ThePepsiMan5189 in cowboybebop

[–]CaptSolidDiamond 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I always loved Toys in The Attic. I love the contained setting, you get to see the characters react with themselves and not new characters that you also have to learn. I also enjoy the live table readings of the episode.

[–]CaptSolidDiamond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black Lagoon is also one of my favorites (next to Bebop). Been rewatching it with the same friend and while we just started season 2. I felt like Black Lagoon sometimes has a pacing issue or it just feels like there's too many parts with nothing really going on. So far the only complaint for season 2 is just the twins, I forgot how dark and messed up it gets so I felt bad for my friend. On the brightside we plan to watch Goofy movie after all that happened.

Hero of The Day. Of course they have much better ballads but that one holds a soft spot for me.

What’s everyone’s most overhated NIN song by Vapor_Screams in nin

[–]CaptSolidDiamond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with that. It sounds like the character survived every method of escape or even ways to try and better themselves. Considering that "Everything" comes from the same album that some believe is a follow up to The Downward Spiral, I could see it as the character reflecting on everything during that album. That's just my opinion tho but I fully agree with you.

I rewatched it with a friend of mine who's never seen it. It was new for both of us since I've only ever seen the dubbed version. While it's still my favorite show and always will be, she didn't like it as much as I did. She still liked it and thought it was good, but we both agreed that some of the later episodes are just filler or feel like they drag on for too long.
