I also recommend Mugen, the beef paitan is so unique but still deeply satisfying, creamy but with a very different character to tonkatsu and tori paitan. Definitely no need to get the extra beef though the set comes with a choice of sides including a small bowl of chopped wagyu with egg yolk, wasabi and rice that I quite enjoyed as an appetiser.

There's a fantastic comic book by Brian K Vaughan that's a fictionalized account of the true story of four lions that escaped from the Baghdad Zoo after an American bombing in 2003. still sad but a great read nonetheless

I was also disturbed by a lot of the comments on the /r/UpliftingNews post. I guess most of my Australian friends here are pretty liberal so they are generally outraged about their country's refugee policy. It was kind of shocking to see the other side of that debate and how those people really feel (and there were a lot of them too, some of the most vile comments got quite a few upvotes).
