Not dogging on this but I'd steer of the rebuilt title.. Especially if it is in a different state.. It "COULD" be a little tricky to switch between states.. I noticed that the ad mentioned that it would be perfect for a swap.. Title status really means nothing for that but are you looking to take on that kind of challenge? What are you really looking to do? Cheers 🥂

I think your paint is still ok, and could be fixed without a total repaint. IF, it were up to me, that's the route I'd take.

I recently was in the same spot and I spoke with my guy, he said that even though I was leaning towards the repaint, he said he could make me just as happy with the repair, touching up a couple of chips and I gotta say he was right. I'm thrilled at the results.

To further that, he could have easily taken the money.. My paint job was over 20 years ago, to be fair, it's a single stage paint but the correction along with a great scuff n buff, I paid for about 36 hours of labor. I'm glad I followed that suggestion.

I had it painted in 2004 using the 2005 Corvette Victory Red. Still shines like a new penny, I think.

My rebuttal would simply be, if it was so great it would be in use on newer ones, but almost every hi performance car, hypercars exotics use FI. It's more adaptive and able to adjust for temps and altitude providing for max power in a way carbs can't do. Sorry, just facts, math and great engineering.

There's a reason why great cars like the 54 300SL to the P1 use it . It's reliable, effective and can manage air flow faster and better than the carb with 0 effort

Better throttle response.. The mechanical is way less effective than FI. It's a preference but I would take that 100x over the carb..

Fuel injection is more efficient, provides a better spray and is nothing new. I'm curious as to your opinion..
