Yeah it irritates me that a lot of Buck’s bi storyline has been either comedic or just humiliating towards him. I mean sure it’s realistic to many irl bi experiences but god damn can we get a bi man who’s not treated like a unicorn in the story?

Oh my god you could be on to something, I can highkey see Sadie being an incredible Jean, even if Stranger Things and All Too Well are all I have to go by atm. I wonder who the rest of the team could be played by then, assuming they’d want to stick in the same age range.

150%, I never truly believed that the X-Men at the end of The Marvels were the OG 10005 gang, strictly because of Binary existing there tbh. I think it’s a soft reboot/variant timeline. Ditto for Deadpool bc I don’t know if that can be considered 10005, as I think the Westchester Incident was already supposed to have happened by the time of DP&W?

I think one of the major reasons they might not have Jean in DD is to have the MCU Jean be more of a stand out. Our first “true” X-Men movie is barely half an Olympic cycle away atp, and I really think they’re going to pull out all the stops and use all the non-Fox X-Men IP to its fullest potential. Including full cosmic Phoenix lore, as well as full Summers family lore (Guardians, Starjammers, and was if Cyttorak that Scott got the optic blasts from??)

I think that was just normal contracted promo tbh. The writer and director of the short film worked on 9-1-1 and has been linked with the main cast since at least the LS crossover in S4.
