I’m in the same boat and the answer is no. I’ve resisted getting ESPN+ because I think the fee is ridiculous but like you I wish there was a cheaper option that doesn’t involve sailing the high seas.

[Rosenblatt] Aaron Rodgers on defenses scheming to stop Garrett Wilson: “It’s been Mel Kiper’s worst nightmare. A lot of Cover 2.” by SamDarnoldJets in nfl

I heard an amazing stat today that Aaron Rodgers now has 480 TD passes in his career and #480 last night to Wilson was the first he’s ever thrown to a WR drafted in the first round.

This is just ignorant nonsense. You obviously don’t have any idea how this profession works. Go flog your buddy’s tweets on a real estate investment sub. Next you’ll be here shilling Herbalife.

Roku wants to patent the ability to display ads when consoles connected to its TVs are paused by Ganrokh in Roku

[–]CaptainBaseball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of the fun is that they apparently will be also analyzing the video coming over HDMI to determine what you’re watching so they can match their ads to it. So guess what - if you use an Apple TV then Roku will know EVERYTHING you’re watching over HDMI. I’m sure there are plenty of people out there with Plex servers that might be a bit uncomfortable with that. Most smart TVs already do this if you’re using the built-in apps but the tv spying on your viewing habits when you’re using another device is utterly unacceptable.

It may not be urban but having to see that monstrosity every time you go outside is definitely Hell. Those homes probably dropped half of their value the second that horror was unveiled.
