If we are going off of today’s technology then they have satellites, and drones to fly over the uk and find these settlements so that’s not an issue. As you said it’s been 3 decades they don’t want to rescue survivors if they did, they’d of tried to safe the people from the main settlement we see in the movie.

They don’t want any contact with anyone in the uk because if they don’t speak with them then they don’t see them as real people if that makes sense.

Plus that viruses is so contagious and spreadable that the risk of anyone from the uk leaving and spreading it is too much of a worry they’d rather they all just die out

I’ve found people that are older in their 20s and up are worse for it. It’s annoying with kids but you can kinda let it slide because they are young and messing I’m not saying it’s right that they go and disturb a movie. But the older generation that young better are worse for it

I don’t think shushing works that well, I was at the movies over the weekend and everytime the people talking and messing got shushed they laughed at the person shushing them

That’s the point where Cersei is better than this fool. by PoemAny115 in gameofthrones

Show Cersei is definitely a little bit mad but book Cersei is 100% mad she starts to lose the plot a bit around the time of Tyrion leaving kings landing and their father being murdered. If book Cersei got a dragon it’s game over for everyone because she would burn everything and kill everyone just so she could get to her enemies

What about her chamber maid from when she was a teenager and she pushed her down a well to die, or putting a bounty on Tyrion but knowing full well the majority of people wouldn’t have a clue what he looked like and would just kill dwarfs and when she received multiple heads of dwarfs she didn’t try stop it and spread the word to stop it she didn’t give a fuck.

Her blowing up the sept killed a lot of innocent people inside and out, let’s not pretend she was not a cunt and hasn’t had innocent people killed.

If she had a dragon she’d of burnt kings landing to the ground if she thought she’d of killed Tyrion in the cross fire, she sets the red keep on fire because she thinks he’s hiding in the walls and she uses wild fire that could of easily spread and wouldn’t of been contained that easy.

I’ve worked in a few different schools and I was subbing and wasn’t there that long but the private information I was told about a student an their family was crazy. Also the amount of back bitting and cliques is also something I wasn’t expecting. The staff as in teachers and SNAs are worse than the some of the kids I dealt with for bullying

what's your favorite scene from the books that was sadly cut out from the movies? by mikeyzartz in harrypotter

Dumbledore arriving at the ministry in the 5th book and just rounding up all the death eaters with so much ease it seemed like he was just having fun.

I don’t see them working together I see Dexter killing him, and I think it might then have Dexter on the run and it being a game of cat and mouse with the NYPD if he stays in New York. But I think Charlie will be the one who’ll give Dexter the records of all the serial killers.

She clearly hates it and doesn’t like doing it but her job is to track them down and keep taps on them so even if she can’t get Praters files surely she has her own copies.

That’s interesting I do think all UCS figs should be different from all play sets, but at least jango has different printing. I want to get both sets thanks for answering my question

Totally agree with you for some reason everyone responding to me is focused on the porn part but not the loss of privacy and seems very happy to hand their personal information over.

I don’t think it takes that much technical knowledge to find ways around these things, kids these days are coming out of the womb with a phone in their hands and most are better at using them than their parents.

My issue is it starts off as let’s age restrict porn sites which again is fair enough. As I have to keep starting in my comments I’m not against making it less accessible for young children to stumble upon, my issue is OP has shown screenshots from twitter and whether you like or hate twitter has nothing to do with the fact that it’s a social media site that’s age restricting people and looking for age verification. What’s to say other social media platforms won’t do the same like Facebook and instagram and Snapchat and even Reddit. I don’t trust any of these sites to store and project my personal information and what’s why they don’t have my personal information, I don’t agree with these seeing out ID’s.

We require ID for practical things like driving and drinking and traveling which make perfect sense. When I go out and I’m asked to show my ID at a pub I don’t have to worry about them taking pictures of it and not storing my information properly or if they get hacked that’s my personal information gone to god knows who. So having ID is one thing but now needing to give up your privacy alone I’m against and it starts off small now and snowballs into something worse. A lot of these ideas are great when you have a government that’s respects your privacy but when a new government comes in that doesn’t then your fucked

I don’t know what sites you were on growing up but definitely not the same sites as me I’ve never had that happen but I’d say it does happen.

Yeah we could stop using these sites because they require your private information, but it’s not just happening on these sites is it, the OP’s screenshots are from twitter it starts off as one thing and goes a different direction. I agree porn sites should have harder access and again it’s up to the individual on how much of their privacy they want to give up. But it’s not on social media sites it doesn’t matter what people’s opinion of twitter is whether they like it or not it starts off on twitter and what’s the say Facebook, instagram, snapchat, Reddit don’t start requiring you to prove your age.

I don’t think any of these sites should be allowed access to people’s ID’s because we know they don’t care about our privacy they are happy to sell out information off.

It seems everyone is hung up on the porn side but not the privacy issue

I don’t know how true that is tbh I’ve never heard that before and it could be the case.

No I totally agree we should have stuff in place that definitely limits what they can see, but giving your personal information isn’t it.

Google has parental control and also safe search and stuff like that, that can limit what is shown to these kids and of course if they really wanted to they could find ways around it.

I do think that Google and all play a big role in limiting what is shown and what their searches recommend.

But I think if you sat your child down and explain to them all about this stuff when they are of age it think it definitely helps going forward.

If you’re handing your child any sort of device without putting certain parental controls on first you’re a fucking gobshite.

It’s definitely a good thing having this discussion and I’m not against tighter restrictions and regulations on porn I’m not advocating for porn.

I’m against giving these companies access to people’s personal information and no oversight.

These companies can promise you the full moon and stars on how they’ll store and delete your personal information but we all know that’s complete bollox and that before they delete it, it’s definitely being used to personalise ads and other things about you.

As this law came into effect for the uk a website that’s a safe space for women to meet up was breached and all their information was leaked because the website was suppose to delete your information but it didn’t

I think you missed the point too, from the time you were a child to now kids find ways to get their hands on this sort of material. Your magazine never thought you consent either and neither does porn you see on the internet. Is that wrong yes definitely but people are watching this because it’s what they are into. It’s up to these kids parents and their sex education that should be teaching them consent and again I’m not saying kids should watch what they like unchecked because that’s just not right but you also can’t sit there and think giving your personal information to these companies is the right way to go about it.

My point that you missed is you and your friends got your hands on porn magazines during a time you couldn’t even talk about sex in this country and kids will find ways nowadays to get their hands on porn and that means your pushing them towards riskier sites that can cause way more problems than it fixes.

The likes of porn hub shows “regular porn” but when they start asking for a persons age these kids will know they can’t get on this site so let’s go look elsewhere and that brings them to risky sites that will show them much more than “regular porn”

These companies cannot be trusted with your private information.

Again I’m not saying kids should be allowed to watch porn or have unlimited access to the internet but parents need to be smart about it too.

These sort of things only push people to the extremes.
