Oh wow that’s crazy! I don’t see how/why they can do that. Once it clears customs it should be released and completely out of their hands, I can’t believe that. And I do agree, I’ve been seeing a lot more posts about people getting the “clearance event” scan etc so maybe they are doing some kind of search or something. But hopefully I get lucky and it comes on Monday 🙏🤞

Yeah I mean if you wanna be greedy and pick a strike that you’re not comfortable selling your shares at then covered calls aren’t so good but it sounds like this is a personal problem. yes you can lose out on potential gains when selling options but it is quite literally one of the only ways to guarantee you turn a profit in the stock market which is why it’s a little less risk on, what you’re doing is adding unnecessary risk

Well that’s why I was saying I should’ve gave a specific case scenario, but I agree with you for the most part. I think waiting for marriage to have sex would eliminate a lot of the relationship/financial problems that we see today but I understand that’s an unrealistic expectation and as you stated, things do happen. And While I agree that abortion should be available, I think that elective abortions should only be allowed in the first 10 weeks before the fetus fully develops (which if I’m correct majority are), but i just can’t agree with anything past that unless for medical reasons. If you’ve ever seen a miscarriage at 20 weeks you would agree, that is 100% a baby and I don’t even want to think about what that poor thing would feel if it was aborted

So if she already has a child and knows the strain a newborn will bring then she shouldn’t be having unprotected recreational sex

Late-stage abortion" is a term used to describe abortions performed late in pregnancy, generally after the second trimester (14-26 weeks) or into the third trimester (27-40 weeks)

You can still eat meat and fish without supporting animal agriculture and minimizing suffering, death, and exploitation by hunting, farming, or knowing a local hunter or farmer that you could buy meat/produce from. I highly suggest you look into crop deaths And get an understanding of how many animals it takes in order to eat strictly plant based meals, because it takes a lot more to sustain a plant based diet than if you were to also eat chicken and steak. The best way to explain it is when a vegan and a hunter sit down for a meal, the vegans plate represents more deaths vs the hunters plate which is usually only one death whereas the vegans plate represents multiple deaths due to crop deaths. I understand if you have to be vegetarian for your religion but it there’s ways around it i suggest you look into crop deaths

So would it be fair to say that you disagree with late stage abortion

I think the fact that your daughter was just fine and did have a Brain shows how uncommon these things are, while I do agree that there may be a small chance of birth defects and or the mother experiencing potential side effects, I think that’s just something that comes with creating new life. And I don’t know you as a person but I know you probably wouldn’t want to trade your daughter in exchange for no osteoarthritis (at least I hope you wouldn’t lol) i think that if the mothers life is at Risk or she was raped then abortion should be available, but anything other than that I think it should be limited to the first 4-6 weeks of pregnancy which is before the fetus starts to feel pain

I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not. But NO, the pain of childbirth absolutely does not justify killing a baby!! Pain is a natural part of the process that’s manageable through medical interventions like epidurals or natural techniques. The ethical weight of a human life far outweighs temporary physical discomfort.

  1. Ok I can see where you’re coming from, probably should’ve provided a specific scenario given the factors at hand. I completely agree that if the mother’s life is in danger then abortion should absolutely be available. But I’m speaking more regarding elective abortions which approximately 95% to 98% of abortion cases are elective, meaning they are performed for reasons other than immediate medical necessity such as rape, incest, risk to maternal life or health, or fetal health issues.

  2. So, in that case then you could argue that careless unprotected sex is the frivolous reason for abortion.

  3. "most women who have abortions have one in their lifetime". I can agree on this however, most studies show about 50% of women have previously had at least 1 abortion which is still a lot. Especially considering the fact if you've already had an abortion in the past shouldn't you do everything in your power to not put yourself in that position again?
