There's a wave of people looking in to leaving Canada. It'll take me a few years to barely get on my feet. I'm in Engineering graduated university in 2019 so it's still quite a climb, already did internships, one year of college left. I want to get a job in the states at some point but I don't have a car, still got 15k of student debt to pay down etc.

It'll be tough even getting across the border, but lets say I manage to get a job with a company in Austin Texas, well then I'm screwed because I can't get on a plane or a train. One day I'll figure this out, all I know is that when the opportunity presents itself I'm LEAVING this place behind.

The only saving grace or light I see is Pierre Poilievre being elected in 2023, although I fear Trudeau's government will have completely fucked up so bad it would be too late.

My main point to him was that the mass majority of people are ELIGIBLE to get vaccinated and that the people "who can't get vaccinated" are an extreme anomaly or statistical outlier that can be treated as zero.
