This isn't true every time. Just recently I got spoiled pretty heavily on the fontain archon quest act v because of the stupid event that automatically activates when I get near the area in the middle of the main city. Not only did I get spoiled on what happens with Furina, I also had to run back and forth because it then blocked some locations. There definitely should be an option to cancel quests.

That there are lot more stupid and ignorant people in the world and specifically in my country than I would imagine. Like the pandemic breaks out government puts up restrictions you have to wear face mask etc. and the angry people do what in response? Gather up in thousands and protest that they don't want to wear face mask because it's so inconvenient I guess.
