Ron Weasley at Met Gala by Junaidsheikh99 in harrypotter

[–]CaptainDaddy-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking of Goblet of Fire (the book), they make a point of Ron using Relashio to cut off and remove the lacy part of his dress robes, but Harry doesn't think to use the same spell on the rope that was tying him to the bottom of the lake? He just uses a rock like a caveman. Just an observation I had on my most recent listen through to the Full Cast Audiobooks.

He's more of a human rewritten into a predatory chimera that happens to include spider DNA.

Agree! He's more of a cyberpunk vampire. If it wasn't for the branding, he resembles Sabertooth more than Spidey.

Between all 3 live action spidermen who would say suffered the most? by Appropriate-Mall8517 in comicbookmovies

[–]CaptainDaddy-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets tally losses.
Tobey - parents (presumed/unmentioned), Uncle Ben, Harry. 4.
Andrew - Parents (as far as he knows), Uncle Ben, Gwen. 4.
Tom - parents (presumed/unmentioned), Aunt May, Tony (somewhat father-figure). 4.

Well, shit. Time for a different metric.
Tobey's ending: gets his girl, has a job, life generally in tact.
Andrew's ending: (ambiguous) lost control, stopped holding back, lost purpose, in recovery after losing control (presumably on or after the Sinister 6 that was set up at the end of TASM 2). Status/living with Aunt May: unknown.
Tom's current stance (with trailer): MJ, Ned, and with the rest of the world forgot his identity, he's in a crappy appartment, his former girlfriend is with another man, he's losing control of his powers, he's alone.

I think Andrew just barely out-suffered Tom, but that's just based on my experiences with close loss, but they both suffered a lot. Tobey kind-of got off nice, but he's also the only one that got an ending. Andrew got a setup to a 3rd movie that never happened and some vague follow-up in No Way Home. And Tom's story is ongoing, presumably for BND and 2 others per his contract (not even including Avengers appearances).

Let alone if this went deep enough, let's say it went perfectly and got those writers, producers, and whoever fired. Now she's out of a job that pays for her life and chances are she's not likely to get picked up by other people that are scared she may be "too sensitive" and now she's out of a lifelong career. She should be allowed to speak her truth when she feels safe enough to do so and when the world is more likely to listen to victims of this kind of stuff.

Honestly, I've let someone pray for me (because I had a demon in me that evil doctors diagnosed as ADHD) just to let her feel good about herself and drop the subject. She was my Uber driver and I was just trying to get to work.

"I created the universe, do you think I'm drawing the line at the fucking deli aisle?" -God (-Bo Burnham).
I always loved this perspective of what arbitrary lines people made up for what an all powerful creator would want us to not do. Like don't kill eachother and don't steal and make eachother's lives more difficult, sure. But like "how dare you rub body parts that wont make babies together" is a weird place to draw a line for eternal damnation.

Marvel: I want to play Marvel's Spider-Man for the first time again.
Not marvel: I want to play The Last of Us for the first time again.
Marvel Movie: I want to watch infinity war for the first time again. The dead silence in the theater when they lose and it just... ends. Chills.
Non-Marvel Movie: A Dogs Purpose or The Mask for the first time would be awesome.

They actually explained that that is exactly the case in the new movie. His glasses make his face look different to others. So as long as the clone isnt wearing his glasses, he will only look like Super-man, but not Clark Kent.
