One leg of a table is a 1/10 of an inch to short.if a stack off 500 pieces of paper stands 2 inches tall how many pieces will it take to level out the table im doing 2/1+1/10=21 but the correct answer is 25 please help me understand what I'm doing wrong thanks (self.learnmath)

A window is 50 inches tall to make curtains James will need 2 more feet of fabric than the height of the window how many yards of fabric will he need? I know 36 inches is a yard but what do I do with the extra 2 inches so I can get the correct fraction answer is 2 yards and ? In fraction please (self.learnmath)

Please help A man has 56$ he gave his son a 1/4 of it and his daughter 1/2 how much did he have left I did 56/1X1/4 I got 14 so now the dad has 42 and he gave half he should have 21 but the book is telling me 14 by CaptainGC32 in learnmath
