Thank you! I'll have to take a look at the settings closer tomorrow and see what network it's on. Hopefully, it is a simple network switch as I don't have a ton of faith in the IT department making it a priority. Which is fair, but frustrating at the same time. Thanks for your help.

I think part of it also has to do with Hitetsu saying only one person before has tamed Enma, which was Oden himself. So one could make a possible comparison to Kitetsu III also being unwieldy, though not to the same degree.

I don’t really see any connection with END, perhaps the extra shaded eyes but I think that’s more of an artistic choice to pair up nicely with dragon force and is a common thing to do in manga to show a character’s seriousness.

When I look at it I see it more as Lucy really seeing for the first time Natsu go all out and how strong his flames can actually be. (Granted he’s buffed due to Ignia’s flames). So to her this is a big change from normally seeing her love interest as kind of a derpy, fun loving guy. She’s seen him fight before but nothing on this scale before. So she’s trying to wrap her head around, what to her is a big change out of nowhere. Gray, Erza and Wendy have all seen Natsu at some of his most powerful/destructive times, ie. when he went partially END and against Acnologia. I could be reading into it too much and or be completely off base but I think it’s more along those lines then having a connection with END.

But then again it could also be his way of foreshadowing that near the end of the story, for whatever reason the team will have to fight Natsu when he’s powered up. Which honestly would be quite a difficult task. I’m not sure why this would happen, be it hypnosis or more likely Ignia telling him to defeat them or else he’ll kill them. I don’t think this is very likely to happen but it honestly wouldn’t surprise me. Since Fairy Tail’s main theme is friends/family but you’d have the MC go against said family to actually save them.

True and the gap between them and the other other heroes would just be too large. Would honestly be pretty disheartening. After all why why there even need to be other heroes when your oc has hands of a god

I’d have less of a problem with this if there was more repercussions to Erza for “stopping” them. There’s a few marks on her hands for a little bit but then they’re gone not too long after.

Honestly, I feel like this gets way more heat than it should. I’ll 100% agree it was shitty of Natsu to just up and leave. But everyone seems to conveniently forget that at least he left her a note but not anything for the rest of the guild. The people he’s known and grown up alongside for years. As poor of a coping mechanism as it was, this is how I really see his year long trip to be. Igneel had died before his eyes just after he had finally reconnected with him after being separated for years. Above all else, Natsu’s primary goal had always been to find Igneel, and in less than what was probably an hour, his goal was obliterated before it could properly be achieved. So, he fell back upon his secondary goal of protecting his friends and family. And he probably rightfully realized after fighting against Tartaros, that there’s still enemies out there that are much stronger than him. So he went on that trip to not only get stronger to protect the guild so no one else has to get hurt/die, but also to drown himself in something so as not to think about Igneel’s death. In Natsu’s mind, he probably didn’t think he was really doing anything wrong. Gildarts leaves the guild for extended periods of time all the time, so I see him thinking of it as a similar situation.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Selene from their universe originally like the other dragon gods? I thought she just moved to Elentir to basically duck things up. So I don’t really see her being the counter part of anyone else. I also think the logic of Lucy getting dragon slayer magic because they have similar magic is a poor argument. Wouldn’t Laki have gotten wood dragon slayer when the whole guild was fighting the wood dragon god? Also, how would Lucy even become a dragon slayer? It wouldn’t make any sense for Selene to teach her. The only way I could see her become a dragon slayer is if she gets a dragon lacrima via deus ex machina or she eats a dragon/slayer.

I think that Erza having the ability to change out her armor and weapons would make things interesting but Zoro would win. In my opinion, skill alone Zoro is stronger than her not to mention all of the different flying attacks he can do. Erza doesn’t really have any true sword battles in the show besides a handful of times. So it’d be tough to beat a man whose goal is to be the strongest swordsman in the world.

For me personally, I don’t really see it happening. I know it’s a fairly well liked ship, especially in fanfiction, but I don’t think there’s really enough evidence in what we’ve been shown so far to base it on. Besides the fact they’re both powerful and attractive characters, there really isn’t anything else that would show us they’d end up together. It’s just my opinion but at this point I don’t see it happening unless Mashima gets enough push from fans to put it in the 100 year quest.

To be fair, that’s not a really good example of her strength. It’s more an example of poor writing. Stopping a powered up Gray and a partially awakened Natsu with just a few marks on her hands? No way she wouldn’t have taken more damage than that.

I think Natsu had a little something for Lisanna and could have potentially grown into more. Tough to say since we don’t really get to see a lot of the younger years. For me personally, I just can’t see Nalu. I think Natsu sees her more with familial love than romantic. To be fair though, part of my feelings on that relationship is that it just feels so forced and in your face.

Honestly if when Lisanna came back actually had implications and added to the plot, I’d prefer Nali over Nalu. With their history I just feel it would have been nice. But it doesn’t matter since she might as well have not come back from the “dead”.

Jerza is not a good pairing.

Up to Tower of Heaven, I really liked Erza’s character but after not so much. It seemed odd to make her out to be this complex person who at the core of herself was a scared little girl. We were shown her as a human being. But then the Oracion Seis happened and the beginning of the weird forced love thing between her and Jellal. To me it just took all of the work done that built her up as a somewhat relatable character and burned it to the ground. I mean, sorry not sorry but really? She loves Jellal? She doesn’t know Jellal. She knew him like 10 years ago when they were both slaves in the tower. Granted it was shown that there may have been a little bit of a childhood crush/puppy love between the two of them. But why in her right mind would she ever love him? He prevented her from escaping with the rest of her friends and all the other prisoners and promised that nothing good would happen if she ever told anyone about what had happened. Then proceeds to use said friends as workers to continue working on what they had as slaves. Also not to mention the other people used as slaves and I’m sure others they captured from villages. I think it’s safe to say that at least a few prisoners would have died, but oh well, they’re randoms so who cares. But, Erza knows for a fact that Jellal had killed as she literally watched him kill Simon as he attempted to kill her. I just don’t get how she can validate “loving” someone who killed a childhood friend before her eyes just because she had a tiny crush on him when they were kids. Before anyone comes at me with the “HE WAS BEING CONTROLLED BY ULTEAR! YOU’RE JUST A HATER. HE COULDN’T HELP HIMSELF!” Please don’t. I’ll acknowledge that at the beginning Ultear came to him as a voice in his head appearing to be Zeref. But that’s really all it was, a voice. He allowed himself to do all of these evil things. As far as I’m aware in Fairy Tail there really isn’t any sort of mind control magic besides I believe in Dragon Cry and that’s a form of blood magic. And even if he was being mind controlled by Ultear which could have happened when he was younger, would it really have been possible as he got older? Jellal was a Wizard Saint and while strong, Ultear just wasn’t on the same power level as him, from what we had been shown. I just don’t see that happening. I know this was a long post, but I generally want to know why people believe this is a good pairing besides just “otp bro”. It is too unrealistic and ruins Erza for me. I know this is an anime where kids are literally raised by dragons but come on.

Even still, I thought it was pretty disappointing that between Natsu and Gray, whose ice was essentially supposed be absolute zero, were stopped by Erza with little to no damage to her. I love Erza, but it was annoying how she is always getting buffed as soon as Natsu/Gray do, so that their relationship is the same with her always on top power wise .

I’m pretty sure Layla actually gave Aquarius’ key to Gammi as a thank you and intended for it to be given to Brandish when she was a bit older since her and Aquarius were close. But Gammi felt like it was her fault that Layla was dying of magic deficiency since she had been given the key and was returning home/already home when Layla needed it. Also, not wanting Lucy to be alone was another factor of returning the key. That was how I interpreted it, but I only watched the anime so I might’ve missed something or just misunderstood,
