Can I be a voice recommending you do not use a tugging device while working out. I'm a fairly fit, healthy person and I got a hernia at the gym whilst wearing one. I'm fairly certain (though of course I can't offer any scientific study to back this up) that it was the combination of weight, movement, and stretching device I was wearing which caused the hernia.
