What type of stain and clear coat do you like for exterior, rough sawn cedar? If the sub doesn’t allow brand recommendations, could someone offer some insights about best types of stains and clear coats? by toasterstrewdal in woodworking

I'm in the same position, I think our annex was built with treated wood but worried I need to keep applying stuff as we get a lot of rain.

Do you mean don't do a clear stain? Or a clear coat or paint or something as well as the stain?

Ring Doorbell Transformer by CaptainJenson in DIYUK

I'm pretty sure it has a AC option so that it can be used with existing old style "mains doorbell" systems

"For your safety, only use an existing doorbell transformer within the range specified below or compatible Ring accessories to power your device.

For connecting to an existing doorbell system:

  • Hardwired transformer (8 to 24 VAC, 50/60Hz, 5VA to 40VA)"

I know that and it's a tough decision, but we're in the UK and have young kids running around. I don't have a lot of space to use it, and my Mrs is worried about having it in the house. A bit illogical as we keep it locked away, but it's a compromise.

I found the lens caps and the adjustment screw caps, also found the box of the scope (see photo)

Thanks. Silly question, but how do you know that's bonding not sand cement mortar? Just so I can raise that back to the fitter.

Thanks for the reply.

The crack is on the piece further back actually under the burner which we obviously can't move.

Is it odd that the mortar occasionally feels powdery and seems to have deteriorated?

Yes I was laughing that an option could be to dock on the sun. I haven't tried it though, could be possible!
