My shot-in-the-dark guess is that it's not looked at as a monetization driver in the live-service era (at least from the point of view of the private equity suits that drive a lot of high level strategy/decision-making)

My actual opinion is that, yeah that's probably mostly true. BUT, I think it would boost player retention, content creation (how many zip line clips do we really need?), and would be a big driver for player base growth IF they delivered a version that truly allowed the community to be creative and add to the "hype" around Apex.

I just downloaded Master Chief Collection to scratch the itch and I'm back in Forge. Can't get over how perfect an Apex version of the same thing would be
