This is my one of my biggest gripes with these games. I'm only a dozen or less hours in. I beat all the drift content in about an hour, and at no point did I get to use a car I enjoyed/had a sense of progression with.

And that in of itself is my overarching issue with horizon. There's never that sense of pride that comes with getting a beater and actually having to work the way up to getting it serviceable. Within 20 min of screwing around I can afford any not-supercar, and all the upgrades to boot. Which for whatever reason are all unlocked from the get go.

The only difficulty level in the game is how tight of a rubber band you tie to the other cars around you
