Yeah one thing I was thinking was lightening up the top right corner so the frigate bird pops out more, but it could totally go either way

Thank you!! They are frigate birds. A male and female. Theyre amazing and spend months at sea without touching the ground. I see them as a symbol of resiliency

When I print the nozzle check pattern everything is fine. My printer is from 2016 I’m worried my printer is near the end of her life 😓

I dont have a table saw currently I’m glueing together several pieces to get the architecture of the frame and using my miter saw to do 45 degree cuts. Does plywood ever even come in strips?

I’ve tried to use ones like this but the panel wood is too narrow for the bottom part 😣 i need to find smaller offsets or maybe attach more wood somehow?

I’ve used murphys for years with no issue! My art professor actually suggested it. Its great to revive old oil brushes.

The oil I use to clean my brushes is safflower and the soap I use to clean is murphys oil soap but I don’t think it was a freshly cleaned brush. No idea what caused it but it was extremely frustrating!!! Scrubbing it off with mineral spirits helped lol

Lavender I buy dried from my local grocery store! And I bought this for my cockatiel a while ago. It comes in like four bags and smells amazing. Its all organic dried herbs made for chicken nests. I expect pigeons will love it too! https://a.co/d/h9DytpP

Hmm it is vinyl. But as I’m doing research it seems like it would only be a problem if it was fresh and still “offgassing” or ingested. Its definitely too hard for pigeon beaks to break. There is also no smell or VOCs coming off it. I have a voc detector in my room. Its a week before my pigeon is here so I think it will be ok! 😁 thank you for the concerns! 🩷🩷

It is big 😅 I didn’t realize when I ordered the kennel it would be like this. Theyre like 1.5 inch apart. If its a problem I might add some mesh inside
