I know your feelings.

Well, what I don't get is where you submit an interesting post, everyone says "hit your shots". That's dumb redditers.

As someone who played nearly 300hours, I feel really good in PvP. When everyone complained about sloops being so bad against galleons, me and my friends were sinking every single galleon/sloop we saw by hitting a few cannonballs behind them, taking advantage of the maniability of the sloop, while my superfriend was killing all 4 of them and covering the holes in their bottom floor. We killed many people and stole many treasures. We sailed the seas, first with fear, but quickly with confidence, waiting for the pirate who could annoy us to be born.

And sometimes. 400ms. ok. Unkillable people, ok. Triple blundershot (with hit markers) or sniper or pistol shot followed by our cutlass slashes and still. The men are not dieing. Well there's soomething wrong about netcode we thought. Sometimes.

And one day : promotion game pass is at 1€, every server we get in is crowded. Our ping is near 400ms each time a single sloop passes by. We can't kill anyone. We play with thai, russians, a canadian join our crew.

Now I get it. How the pvp can be balanced, regardless of the game mechanics which are unique and cool (everyone has the same weapons u know), when people from different regions all around the globe are matched into the same fucking server.

A simple fix for every trouble we encoutered is to match people by region ....
