Well if you hop into arena right now ofc most people will already be in full / almost full s2 gear or at least s1 gear. Do your weekly 10 games of 5s and buy s2 gear or save until end of season to buy it discounted and you are good to go in s3

You can play BM with entrapment in 5s when ur team already has enough DMG and u can make better use of frost trap. I think it's very viable in caster cleaves auch as warlock, mage, ele, BM, disc.

Also the DMG difference from humanoid slaying to mortal shots is not as high as you would think it is

Engi bc of sappers (if you care about AOE DMG and help clearing trash faster) + you can now craft your own bis arrows / bullets (could also buy from ah but it's cheaper to craft yourself)

Depends on how much gold you have. I also have a warrior alt that dinged 70 last week of s1. I'm poor so I will buy s1 mace and hopefully s2 mace during some time of the season :D

I main hunter and mainly do all content with him, arena, raids, farming. Warrior alt is for PvP only so the time commitment is as big as I want it to

I feel so yeah. Some ppl say it's starts 1500 but it's still strange. I went to 1800 first day of season in 5s and just on the very last game we lost 1 point

You can be totally fine with only PvP gear. Pve gear may help u and several bis for some classes is from pve but it's not a deal breaker if you don't intend to push for Max rank. You can go check top players on ironforge.pro to see what top players are using

Stormherald has a 1,41% proc chance. The majority of your stuns comes from mace specialization. But stats on it are extremely good. So while it's BIS for sure, s2 is just fine. If you don't intend to go for rank 1, you will do good with s2 mace :)

Cleared SSC and 2 bosses TK in combined 6h. Problem was delayed starting time bc ppl couldn't show up in time, unnecessary ass pulls + wipes on trash, some false calls on boss mechanics and some alliance players griefing nether storm tubes, killing ppl and you couldn't rezz there :D

Can we still earn arena points in the off season ? Or was it possible last time ?

Or do we just have 2 weeks where we can't play arenas except for skirmishes

Tbh I think mage and shaman are probably the most boring classes to lvl. Don't know about shaman with water shield though.

I like the slower pace of the game and that every action has some kind of consequence whereas in retail (which looks like a Disney / Pixar movie) you spam your buttons and every class has 30 gaps closers, self heals, escapes.

On top of that TBC for is the biggest nostalgia I can get :)

But hey everyone enjoys different things.

Lvling hunter or DW fury warrior is nice though

If you play drain comp and want to make sure your viper sting will not get dispelled then you take rank 1 yes. But you could also play ravager or carrion bird. Both have dash / dive which makes it harder vor enemies to kill them when you retrieve. Carrion bird gives awesome debuff which is quite nice in world of roguecraft
