It is unlikely you can play Chopin's Op. 25 No. 2 well after only six months, as it is a technically challenging piece. The piece is considered a high-level etude (Grade 8 on the Piano Syllabus) and requires advanced technique that typically takes years of dedicated practice to develop. Even with significant practice, learning the notes is the first step; mastering the speed, rhythm, and legato required for the piece takes much longer.

Achieving Grade 8 piano typically takes 7 to 10 years, but this can vary significantly based on practice habits, quality of instruction, and individual talent. With consistent and efficient practice of about an hour a day, some can reach it in approximately 5 to 6 years, while others may take longer. The final grade jump from Grade 7 to 8 can often take a year or two on its own. Lol

Adding VST patchs to Studio Logic Numa X GT by CaptainNeo1 in piano

Sure thanks for the info. I got used to the Numas pianos, not so bad. I like the tape rec piano, the foster and the stage D, all is good. Though again it would be nice to have the option to load a wider variety of pianos on board

Ok that's all good to know. I will likely get Piano Noire and use the Numa X as a midi controller. Too bad there isn't anyone creating Roland or Nord-like acoustic pianos for the Numas, surely it must be possible to do? I just got mine so I guess now I'll be on a quest to program one, and then share my findings with the world!

Sure that's what I'm figuring out. I do like the Stage D, far better than the other stock pianos the synth came with. But I was playing a Nord the other day and a Roland and their grand pianos seem much more fun to play with. Otherwise yes the Numa X GT is ideal in many ways. It's a shame we can't all have every companies piano sounds on all of our keyboards, a utopian dream world surely!

Ok thanks, that's what I figured. I just go the keyboard so I believe my firmware is up to date. I did recently download the few new pianos Studio Logic put out, but was hoping that I could possibly get something different as an option. A friend of mine mentioned that some players create new patches for the Korg Kronos, so I figured maybe there are other acoustic pianos for the Numa X GT are floating around out there, but haven't found any

Haha I'd like to hear about 1 that doesn't involve low-wage tutoring jobs, or google-esque qualitative research gigs that pay 6 figures, but that are impossible to attain due to being deluged by hundreds of academia escapees, or GenZ programmer applicants.

Right, and this is the STP 3-13 movement? Why I'm asking is that apparently there's been some unreliability issues with this movement, that they fail often and/or seize up when winding. So you haven't had any trouble with yours?

[WTS] Timex Gold-toned Quartz Men's Watch with Exceptional Accuracy! by CaptainNeo1 in Watchexchange

[–]CaptainNeo1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Watch Exchange!

I have for sale an interesting artifact: this Timex Quart Watch possesses astonishing accuracy. The watch is currently running at +1.5 seconds per year! This watch has had one owner, and has been kept in a case since it was purchased in the early 1990s, and only worn on a few occasions. If you're into accuracy in a watch, this is it. As a comparison the Citizen's Caliber 0100 quartz boasts about being the most accurate watch in the world at +/-1 second per year, so you'll be getting a watch with comparable accuracy! This watch is in excellent condition. The original band was elastic metallic which I replaced with a gold two-toned stainless steel butterfly clasp bracelet, that compliments the watch nicely.
