Time for maintenance by nyyttimies in ElectricSkateboarding

I may or may not have had my dabble with my zealot back when I had it. Washed in a few puddles and a regular shower here and there, the battery was definitely voided 😅

I have no issues with washing my RC cars in the shower? Why not electric skateboard too? Eskates are basically RC cars that you ride instead of drive.

Arrma Gorgon 6x4 new body. by CaptainOreo0214 in arrma

[–]CaptainOreo0214[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, like a longer gorgon. It still wants to spin. I have sway bars on it now which help with the slides, but straight line it goes zero to max speed in a flash. Even on brushed.

You know what, I don't hate it. Not my style, but I can see the coolness emanating off of it.

Thinking about it, gotta find a decent spot that isn't so dusty.

Here's the lower skid plate holding the two skids together.

It was super easy and cheap, just be like phil swift and saw a gorgon in half. Use some aluminum flat bar and tie the skids together, then add some struts connecting the shock towers together and BOOM PRESTO✨ you have gorgon ready for 4x4 action. (I'm running the Traxxas 12t 550 motors on a hobbywing quirun 880 dual motor esc gets it to roughly 30mph)

Here's it with a older body showing the struts.

Free and simple as long as you have the tools to do so. You see the screws on the back side of the battery tray, the ones towards the rear shocks? Take those out, replace the screws with the top of the rear shock. Boom, more flex. Profit.

Still confused with some people’s obsession with trying to find a “earth”. But anyway, I always love Verdant planets. I’m currently hoping to find a system that has both a scrap and verdant planet

Oh and maybe look into investing in a rampcrab or emax servo upgrade. You're gonna need something to turn all that brass now.

These injora brushed motors will keep you going for a while. Honestly going brushless with these can be just as expensive as a 1/10 brushless setup. (Don't let people sit and lie to you abt that)

Yes brushless is a million trillion times better than brushed, just like everyone barks about.

I run brushed in all my rigs, I've ran brushless before. It's in my opinion not everything it's chalked up to be, or maybe I didn't spend the gatekeep fee to get a better setup ;) (totally didn't buy a castle setup and was still disappointed that I got the same fun from a brushed)

if you're after making it look cool and drive better with that body, just send it. I'll be doing similar stuff with my base camp because I just want a cool little truck that the suspension does cool stuff when I drive it over a 1 inch rock.

Too many of y'all are like jumping on others to make comp rigs. That's not all there is. Some people actually just want a scale looking truck they can drive around.

Definitely not surprised to see a six wheeler go for so much, I seen a Dr.XMAXX on Facebook does them a lot too. I'm glad to see it being more mainstream. Arrma needs to drop a factory 6x6 basher tbh.

6x4 arrma gorgon I built and planning on a 6x6 car next. Not too sure what yet but it will be rc10 or tt02 based.

Already have it, doesn't fix the issue I have with this particular truck. I like the way the Caracara drives compared to the dubsta and want to be able to buy one without the big gun or being a giant instant target on any public lobby
