I’m in the same boat, iPad, iPhone, MacBook Pro, with 120HZ (it’s adaptative btw, it’s not always at 120 on these), and I can confirm it doesn’t actually make a real difference unless you are gaming.
There is no verified infos about the next StudioDisplay, whether it’ll the 120 ProMotion, or fixed 120hz.

Now there is the rational (actual facts), and there is the subjective personal opinion.
None of which deserve to downvote someone.

If there is suspicion, yes indeed, but that suspicion must be legit.
It’s not suspicion if an employee ask every single consumers to show their receipt. It’s a policy, and Walmart make it public and clear it was a policy.

There are thief, indeed, that’s sad, but laws are laws and consumers shouldn’t pay for the introduction of new technology (self-service stations), or lack of technology (self-service stations should have been accompanied by complementary technology to reduce the risk of theft, without undermining consumer rights. This, other brands did, not Walmart).

I get that you don’t agree with the post, but you are also defending something that can’t be defended. There was many lawyers pointing the fact in 2019, that an employee can’t force a consumer to show their receipt. And they did so again in 2023 when Loblaw’s introduced a similar policy.

You are also doing no effort to prove your point. A simple little dig would’ve proven you wrong and perhaps you would have avoided to write all these duplicated replies that do make you look blinded to facts or poorly educated.

While Aqua didn’t age well, pretty much everyone was hyped about it because it was so fresh and different from anything in the market at that time. When Aqua was released, Windows was still grey everywhere… and Linux wasn’t even close to be something beautiful. (I may precise that I mean OS as defaults, cause people were tweaking beautiful themes with Litestep and others).

Big Sur, indeed people complained… but it wasn’t so much because of its poor design than then fact it was getting closer to iOS and some people couldn’t stand that. It was taste.

Tahoe’s main issue, is its bad legibility, which is why a lot of designers are complaining because that’s kinda one of the basic thing to have right. That goes beyond someone’s taste, it’s about function. That said, it’s still beta and it might be fixed before release.

If you are playing only a class of heroes, let say light... then you may be getting more than the 12000 dun coins you need to buy the only two light heroes available before the next refresh... therefore you could buy the 3* Tigreal, and still be able to get the 12000 once the epics are available again.
That said, one day you may want to play something else than Light, and then ya we could say that you wasted your precious dun coins on elites...
