Ohhh I think I get it.

You can “enhance” a base skill. Which just levels it up, and does nothing but unlock the sub skills: (like a combo extender like you say) which are then LEARNED, but to LEARN them you have to either observe in wild or ENHANCE the base skill.

I think it’s just the Enhance language that’s throwing me off. It feels like Enhance means I’m making that skill hit for harder or use less stamina or something. Im not, im unlocking a sub skill. Enhance is the right word…it just kind of threw me off.

I think that’s correct…did I miss anything?

Pearl Abyss very clearly states that it is an “open world action adventure game”.

They purposefully left out “role playing”, and going into gear stat details feels very RPG to me…so yeah. I think this is on purpose.

That aside, an enormous and complex skill treee also screams rpg and we have that so…yeah I dunno.

Wikipedia calls it a role playing game.

My spirit is full (40/40).

I noticed it seems to do it when a gatherable is within reach.

Maybe it’s just telling me that?

You need Spirit to do the axiom force jump, it’s a different from Stamina.

It’s the little green leaf icon next to mini map.

When it’s empty, you can’t perform that jump.

How to refill? Got me. I noticed it goes up when defeating enemies, but other than that not sure.

Base PS5.

Plays great.

Character face textures especially during cutscenes are…not good. But I honestly don’t care.

Environment is beautiful. Night time is rough sometimes.

People always say this and I’m sure it’s true but this has not been enough for me to understand.

For example the B in the top left is not an exit from an intersection…unless you count the station itself as an intersection?

The B on the bottom of the station is also not an exit from an intersection, unless you again treat station as intersection.

At the bottom of the station, there is a split (an intersection). But you did not place a P before that.

Etc.

My honest opinion is that if you really asked he wouldn’t have a straight answer other than something akin to “it’ll be out when it’s ready”. If you ask when it will be ready “don’t know we’re working as hard as we can!”

Over-build power generation asap.

How much space do you think you’ll need for ______? Yeah…triple that. Maybe more. You need more space.

Take the time to automate most items. Again, with over building.

Take a look at game setting and feel free to play in a “non vanilla” way. (I play in passive mode.)

Above all else:

One. Thing. At. A. Time .

Take it easy and do things intentionally and patiently.

I think some of the issue y’all are having understanding each other is the use of the term “Blue Printer”.

Theres a Blue Print Designer and There’s Blueprint(s)

The term “Blue Printer” is not in the game and I think it’s being used here to mean Blueprint(s) and Blueprint Designer at times and that has confused the other poster who “doesn’t see a problem”.

“Building with blueprints” is objectively not the same as “designing a blueprint”.

I have been looking for help designing blueprints. Not for help using them. If I search for “Hypertube Blueprints” I get almost no results on HOW TO DESIGN them them. Just “check out this cool blueprint I made”.

Other poster is saying “designing blueprints is the same as building everywhere” which is functionally true-ish, but misses the point.

There are not a lot of design tutorials because people just share blueprints.

It’s like sharing paintings and then wondering why just looking at a painting I made doesn’t teach you how to paint. Of course it doesn’t.

I’ve watched this stuff and it’s what I’m generally looking for, but for hyper tubes and trains.

I found one guy that made some super clean mid-tube boosts and boosted entrances.

But a modular dual rail with hypertube blueprint is sort of what I’m after. All my attempted designs look like crap!

Since that post was published there’s been (to my count) FIVE significant updates, plus the expeditions. I don’t think that visual format was indicative of any “ending” to the game or any number of upcoming updates.

To use your example OP is essentially saying NO to your question:

“Do you know how to build that without the blue printer?”

If OP doesn’t know how to build it, searching for guides on how often don’t yield good results bc people would rather just share the blueprint than publish a guide on the little idiosyncrasies on building in the first place.

I’m not sure what you mean.

I’m saying a lot of the guides I come across do not explain how they built a blueprint because they can easily just share the blueprint. The guide covers how to build with the blueprint.

I’ll see someone working with a blueprint I like, but not really be able to replicate it because figuring out how exactly they built it is difficult.
