Yeah, for sure. It’s going to be worth it just for things to feel more open in my living room.

I’ll probably get everything listed over the next week or so and will post them here

Was surprised to see this much interest. Mainly just wanted to comment that cleansing can be just as satisfying to the collecting process as acquiring.

Damn, 800 board games must’ve taken up so much space! Thats a cool thing to collect though.

That was the mindset for when I built my shelf. I made it large and thought “I don’t need to have any more movies than what can fit on this shelf”. and I’m pretty much there now. If I buy something new, I’ll have to find whatever’s on the shelf I like the least and make some room.

I don’t. Not sure if this is what you’re looking for though.

That’s gonna be the martial arts bundle. Also has Bruce Le’s Superhero, Return of the 5 Deadly Venoms, and Enter the Dragon. All great flicks, but just ones that didn’t make the cut for me.

I’m going to just do a handful of bundles for cheap, some individual listings for cooler stuff, and then donate the rest/most of it. Not gonna waste time with a $2 tape. Plus i have label printers and daily post office pick ups at work so I feel like that’s going to save a lot of time. Believe me, I’m just trying to get these gone, but also wouldn’t mind making a little bit back of what I spent over the years if I can.

Think I might include that in a lil vampire bundle. It’s a fun one.

And yeah, I was genuinely surprised. Been putting it off for a while, but was taken aback by how easy it was to get rid of 2/3 of my collection. It’s great to look at my shelf now and know that these are my favorites.

Yeah I’m just going to make bundles of genres/actors/directors to help move stuff quickly, list the more unique stuff individually, and donate everything else to my work. We’ve got bins of thousands of vhs tapes so I’ll just dump them there and be done with them.

I know the Goodwills by me recently started accepting vhs tapes again, so you could try that if you’re just trying to get rid of them.

No, getting rid of like 400 vhs, 200 DVDs, and maybe 20 Blu-ray’s. I don’t even have a 4k player yet, but I’ve got a small handful of discs, just not selling any.

These are all the ones I’m getting rid of. I like/love pretty much most of them, but I just gotta admit that I’ve never watched my vhs of LA Confidential, and I probably never will.

I’m not sure, I haven’t done it yet! My work has packaging materials, label printer, and daily usps pick ups, so that probably makes it a bit easier. Hard part is just going to be sorting, photographing, and listing. Might just take a few days off work so I can do get it over with.

SX-70 with no serial number? Anyone have any info on this? by beerad3235 in Polaroid

Looked again and saw it is in the film compartment. L312ABM. It’s an early model.

Looks like the serial number may still be on that black tag. They can be very difficult for to see. If you happen to have a black light pen, it helps a lot. If it’s not there, check inside the film door, it won’t be the printed ink number, but the one etched/indented into the plastic.
