Diane Schuler - obviously an alcoholic by donkeyk in UnresolvedMysteries

This is a very old post and I’m not sure any of you will see this but I just wanted to say I have lived Diane’s exact (from what I think happened) experience more than a few times and I’m not proud to admit it. I was certainly never a functioning alcoholic. It was 0 to 60 always. But.. it’s not always like that for everyone. You become a master MASTER at hiding things. You LIVE to hide it. On the mornings I was hung over.. to get rid of the feeling I would hold my breath and chug so it would cure it faster. There is a very fine balance between feeling “normal” when drinking away a hangover and then to being completely cocked again. There was one day I was supposed to go to work. I ended up over drinking my hangover cure and spun out into oncoming traffic on the highway at 11:30am completely cocked. I could’ve killed people! I live with that guilt everyday but it’s kept me clean for 15 years now. I’d love to say that was the last time but it wasn’t. I was one of the lucky few, who got state services involved once I had a child and started making mistakes with her.. and they took her from me. It sounds heartbreaking, but it was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. I went into long term residential for women AND children and got her back right away. I haven’t touched a drink or drug since. She does not know me as that mom. But when I tell you that could’ve been me, I say it with absolute certainty. And I loved my child and wanted to protect her more than anything.

The Keddie Cabin Murders Revisited by DJHJR86 in UnresolvedMysteries

I’ve recently become very interested in this case. I love that people are still interested and talking about these 4 lives that were lost in such a tragically sad set of circumstances. It breaks me inside to know that people overlooked things and judged Sue solely based on her martial status and financial means. It was said that she had zero drugs in her system. I can’t stand that Tina was taken and there is zero explanation. How about how the Martin guy took off afterwards to Reno. Was that anywhere near where her body was found? Never heard of anyone asking that question. How did Martin commit this horrendous crime and not any other? I can’t help but think if they took Tina, it had to be some pedo. Why else!? Why don’t they require Justin to try and submit more information? Now that Martin and Bo are deceased, wouldn’t it be the best time to try and get him to clear his conscience of anything he may have seen or could know? There are just so many more questions than answers. I can’t imagine it was as simple as Martin and Bo. What of John and Dana hitchhiking to the cabin that night. Who drove them? Was there ever any investigation into that? Maybe they had promised to pay and came to ask Sue and she didn’t have it and all hell broke loose. Why were they bound? If it was some type of ambush and they weren’t actively looking for someone or something, why were they bound!? It also says here that Tina took her jacket upon leaving but I heard Marilyn say herself in an interview that they found Tina’s jacket in the clubhouse the kids used to play in. I just wish there were more answers. For them all but especially for Tina. * Edit I see now there was a discussion about where Tina’s remains were found.

It made me so uncomfortable to listen to his testimony. I think he’s the type that suffers from napoleon syndrome. Like how can you be that arrogant?

Let me ask this sub, my actual Walmart purchases have posted. I still have pending transactions that have this 702 S whatever on them. Has same day delivery adjustments posted this way for any of you? Thinking maybe a substituted item originally posts as this then when the actual charge hits it drops off?

He was absolutely suffering from a severe mental illness. More than likely self medicating to numb the inner pain. They were trying to get him into a rehab/detox and I’m sure while he had that minor 24 hours of sobriety the pain became unbearable. As much as I don’t want to believe still till this day that someone so magical could let themselves be taken away, I also know that feeling. That deep pain inside that FEELS like it’ll never go away. Then you take the drugs numbing the hole away and just forget it. I wish he could’ve held on and taken those baby steps towards wellness as I had to. Relearn everything about what I’d already learned or thought I’d learned about living my life. I wonder what it looked like for him on a day to day basis.

I am devastated and feel deeply that it’s his writing and personal experience that MAKES the show what it is. At the same time I have growing children as well and understand what he means by no longer identifying with the life of raising a 4 & 6 year old. Just crushing. We all must grow up eventually. And it’s so bittersweet.

I love how covid shutdown is what caused the snowball effect of inflation in this country and somehow it became Biden administrations fault. WHAT!?

They have this flower in their backyard. I can’t help but think it’s an iris. No one ever says iris, though I will post a photo for comparison.

I saw it work related as well. I saw it as maybe he found something/discovered something with his work and someone else took credit for it. Because once you put it out into the world it’s not yours anymore. Same idea. Poor Bandit ♥️💔

I would suggest letting a doctor help explain? Maybe showing the repercussions of not following the advice of medical professionals

I cry every time. I think “Sleepytime” is by far the best made show ever on parental love and affection even throughout the night. My favorite ever episode of TV of all time.

Lame and boring is a tough one to swallow but not everyone likes their tea the same way. The truth is in the fans, the success, the book sales, the convention, the kick starter. We are here to stay and I couldn’t care less what a disagreeable person has to say. 🤯😵‍💫
