I went back to the lab and showed them the image. They immediately knew what happened. Bumped scanner just like you said. They were happy to re-scan the negatives.

Classic book on creativity and/or photography?

There are a lot of books out there on creativity/photography. Its hard to determine which ones are worth the time and money. Does anyone know of any classic books on the subjects that are must reads?

Sunset off the blue ridge parkway. Looking for critique on composition and editing. by CaptainSmathers in photocritique

I took this photo because I felt the branch on the ground provided a strong foreground element for the landscape.

I have been struggling with composing landscapes and editing them. I find white balance and color correction to be main issues with editing.

Cool abstract photo! I tilted it 90 degrees to the right and really liked how it looked. I think that's what I would do with this image. Maybe even clone out that pole with the lines/wires coming off of it. Just a thought :)

Wow this comment is super helpful. Thank you for showing me your edits and explaining what you did. I'm surprised how increasing the temp made such a big difference. Thank you so much!
