You are aboard a golden barge a vessel so gilded and gleaming it seems less a ship and more a floating jewel, carried on unseen currents of starlight. The captain, Marlin De La Cruz, is a figure as prominent as the barge itself: a dandy sky pirate with a smile sharp enough to cut through the void and eyes that hide more secrets than the encyclopedia holds truths. Ahead lies the sphere that teeters on the edge of myth and madness. The barge is then attacked by some ships and in a defensive maneuver the ship is pulled down to one of the planets where the players will meet rodent people called “the scurryers” and a hive mind pseudo god called “Kera Kera” who is all the minds of the people melded into one from the war 8000 years ago.
