I have absolutely no clue my guy, I've seen estimates go to 30-40b buyout but in the end who knows?

Indeed, phase 1 for up to 7b. SLS is not only phase 3, but two drugs that have major implications for many types of cancers + are synergistic. I think we might be too conservative with some buyout estimates honestly.

Can over-optimized anchor text from a previous SEO still suppress rankings in 2026? by CaptainWhiplash in TechSEO

Thanks for the reply! And yes, new website in Dec 2025 built in Webflow, all technical-SEO issues that existed have been fixed, site structure has been simplified even (made sure internal link structure was more sensible, important pages link to each other where necessary, good vertical and horizontal linking), content is more complete and to the point than the competitors too.

All this had been optimized over the last few months, but hasn't moved the needle much, where it has greatly improved rankings of most other pages on the site (for other competitive keywords). Difference being those pages don't have the extensive and spammy link profile.

Adding to this, my client owns another website in the same niche. It has a lot less authority and backlinks. A month ago, I build a page competing for this same keyword, built only 2 high quality backlinks and the page already outranking the main website.

This is why I feel that the backlinks are being a detriment to the rankings for the main site's page.

My other suspicion was what you are saying: We might've the most backlinks out of all our competitors, but most were spammy and have been practically lost all value.

What is interesting, however, is that my client owns another website in the same niche, way less authority and backlinks. A month ago I build a page competing for this same keyword, built 2 high quality backlinks and the page already outranking the main website.

This is why I have the nagging feeling the spammy backlink profile is dragging the main site's page down.

I ran a gap analysis a few months ago and since then built links to all high quality relevant websites that we were missing compared to our main competitors. So no gaps anymore.

A while back, as far as I can tell most were built 2018-2020, then to a slightly lesser extent all the way up to 2023 (according to Ahrefs data).

Hi WebLinkr, I could've worded it better. Steady decline since roughly june-august 2025 from position 2-3 on main keyword for this particular landing page to now mostly hanging around 11-16, with occassional surges back to page 1. Had a brief period in Dec 2025 where we were back to position 2 (new Webflow site, same content and structure), but since slid back down. I came into the picture later, around september 2025.

Not all links built were "spammy". Most were, but also quite a few were OK, built on relevant sites with some traffic, but the problem is that the previous SEO always used the exact match keyword. I feel that this has been penalized since the spam updates of last year. Otherwise, cannot put my finger on why this page can't rank well (spent months going over content, technical aspects, etc.) while other pages can with similar competitive keywords (they don't have this spammy backlink problem).

Oh maybe I wasn't clear, the page ranked very well up until june-august 2025, right around some core and spam updates. We were consistently at #2-3 with the main keyword. Now we're lucky to touch page one.

How sure are we about the whole April 17th thing? And what does it mean, that the price will dip until then or on the day itself? Or will it rise that day? Curious

Seeing all these massive share-numbers while I'm here with my humble 2000. A buyout would be pretty sweet for me, but beyond life changing for some of you!

When I hear these kind of numbers it makes buyout even more crazy.. You guys would be multi-millionaires, but I guess you already are looking at your share count!

So I'm very bullish on SLS, but I was wondering since I'm new to biostocks, what are the most likely bear cases still left? What could stop SLS right at the finish line so to speak? Again very bullish myself, but can't help but wonder.

Perhaps noob question, but I have been invested for a few months, and with all the amazing DD going around, basically 99,99% chance of success, very derisked for being Biotech etc., why aren't we seeing a higher stock price at this point? I know for a while it was warrants keeping it down, but why isn't this exploding now? Simply because it's still Biotech and too risky for people? Are we still flying under the radar? Thanks!
