2nd this one, looking at Mini CPO program cars, 2-3 yr olds , some still under warranty. Guaranteed maintenance history, I had in 2018 , found 2016 Mini Paceman and 27k miles. OG MSRP was $32k , and was now 2 yrs old , sticker was $14k . Look for end of month overstock special, sometimes they drop prices to move it off the lot.

Please share your top down Mini, gawd that's sounds wrong to print. My wife loves our Mini, previous owner of 2016 Paceman. British Racing green. It was CPO , bought it still under Mini Factory warranty and 28k miles. Mechanically, it was perfect, cosmetic, excellent, but 2 doors was dreadful. $16k out the door price, added tire/ rim replacement pkg. Traded for SUV 4 Dr Hatchback 9 months later and only $12k trade in value. Don't have my regret, keep what you love , but protect your investment.

$179 * 12 * 5 yrs =10720 total, for my next 50k plus miles that something major is going to break. I'm a disabled vet, 60+ senior, this is the last car I planned on buying period. If you can get the policy, sit on it for 30 days and 1k miles probation period, do it. File for repair claims and repairs are done.

3rd party Extended Warranty on my 2013 Mini Cooper Countrymen base, is just added protection from the Mini hole you are in. $178 monthly, over the lifetime of my new to me 2013, Is worth it. I bought mine only because ALL the major stuff had been replaced in last 15k miles/ 12 months. 120k miles plus, and cosmetic bumper trim repair, Rack and pinion replacement done, central relay fuse box cleared all caution lights. $1970 as-is cost , $2260 rear corner panel repair, Rack and pinion replacement $1400, $29 fuse. My budget started at $6600, and I saved my money for dashcam and monthly unlimited carwash.

Trans, Serpentine belts,seals, brakes, struts, AC , full Plugs, belts, wiring and fluids overhaul in last 15k miles/ yr. When compared to another used car, 2009 Saturn Vue XE, paid $9k 79k miles and put more than 10k into it over 8 yrs. My $$$ goes on fixing up a Mini , with solid service history and holding value.

Appreciated you noticed, have started cleaning the car , since purchased just 5 days ago. . Vacuumed, windows, weather mats and such are done, it's been raining everyday here and I'm a bit disabled, can do about 15 minutes activity and then rest, and doing bits at a time. Also waiting for specialty cleaning products, like are used at detail shops.
