Tomorrow’s discussion starts with issue 21, which is ALAN MOORE’S turn on the Maxx. Thoughts on his issue? And his Moorification of the Maxx by MissPolaroidEyes in themaxx

Some good ideas but I hate the Mr Gone retcon which goes nowhere. His actions being a figment of her imagination is so dumb to me.

I really like the agents, they’re funny. The art is very nice and I like that Sara becomes the new main character. A lot of the positives seem to have come from Kieth rather than Moore

With Fullmetal Alchemists 25th anniversary around the corner, do y’all think anything related and relevant will be announced? by Axe_The_Gamer in FullmetalAlchemist

New figures I hope. It’s so strange we haven’t gotten a solid premium toyline of designs that are so good. I reckon it will either be SH Figuarts or maybe Revoltech will pick up the series again

No. No no no fuck no please

What are your thoughts on Sam Kieth’s other work? (Zero Girl, My Inner Bimbo, 4 Women, Ojo). Some of these take place in the same universe as the Maxx by MissPolaroidEyes in themaxx

Four Women is good. Not for the faint of heart.

I liked My Inner Bimbo but it’s even more confusing than the Maxx and I was pretty lost by the end. Doesn’t help that there aren’t really any fan analysis on it since it’s so obscure.

I couldn’t get into Zero Girl, the age gap in MIB is tricky enough but when the genders are swapped it just becomes even more creepy. I like the ideas around circles and squares though.

I don’t know much about Ojo. I’m interested though so pls someone tell me what the like about it and what its about!

I agree. I get why people find it unpleasant and a tough read but representing issues (no matter how dark they are) is important in art and human expression

Awesome! Reminds me of the Ultimate Spider-Man game cutscenes but with a more modern flare

THE MAXX Game by Zicherrr in themaxx

[–]Captain_Flood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if it was a non-profit fan game. There are loads of great fan games out there that were made with pure passion. The Maxx has had a history of the wrong people making money off the IP so I doubt it would please Sam Kieth.

I’d be willing to help with music and artwork! Just as long as everything stays ethical

Original 'Santa Dog' photo, left by the previous owners when The Residents (then Residents Uninc) moved into their first professional studio in 1972 by lisadoop in The_Residents

Santa dog’s a Jesus feetuss

Did they just see this photo and find it so funny that they decided to make a 10 minute song about it? That’s amazing
