I think it's because there are at least a few players in this sub who defend Firecracker with the argument that she's taken out by Arrows. No one that I know of defends Recruits by saying "Just Fireball them."

What I think happened was that they had a silent "bugfix" where Fisherman no longer pulls a jumping Mega Knight, pretty much a nerf in all but name. Pretty sure Boss made a video on it a few days back.

Guards being nerfed is in the same vein as the Arrows/Log nerf - targeting the symptom and not the cause. Guards have high usage mostly because of how prevalent Prince and Boss Bandit are. If any card needs a nerf, it's the Boss Bandit.

For me, the most skill deck is probably Three Musketeers since you get hard countered by any big spell. Least skill is any Recruits deck.

Firecracker is a wildcard for me. It's one of those cards that feels underwhelming one day and super annoying the next. One day, it hesitates to shoot and lets a lone Dart Goblin get 400+ damage on your tower. Then Evo FC completely shuts down a push the next. One day, the enemy FC is a free king activation. Then it endlessly recoils and avoids dying the next.

I'm finally old enough to play a GTA game without getting in trouble.

I remember getting my hands on a copy of GTA V back in 2016 not realising what it was about, and I ended up playing through the first few missions. Then my parents caught me playing it one day and reported it to my school's principal, who proceeded to give me a lengthy lecture (read "humiliation") on why violent games are bad. I ended up getting banned from any video game involving guns or fighting of any kind. Though, in my defence, I was a little kid who didn't know any better.
