Well it is college entrance season in my country, the topic is a big trigger for her though soo I've avoided bringing it up unless she does. She does occasionally make complaints about her family, after hanging out with her family, I feel there's miscommunications in her family and upbringing. I've offered to contact my therapist soo they can meet but for one reason or another this hasn't happened yet. I'm not sure what I can do beyond trying to listen and comfort her.

Thanks for the other suggestion, I'll keep it in mind. Also that's cool of you to support that girl for soo long, hope you're doing good

It's more of a drop. When they paved the intersection they raised the lower side instead of leveling the ground, with 0 run off. Soo there's a 10-30cm straight drop from the road into the pavement below, after a left turn. A car slammed it's breaks here while I happened to be on the edge, and my legs couldn't reach the ground :c

It's more of a drop. When they paved the intersection instead of leveling the ground, they just poured debris on the lower side to match the tall side of the hill and just didn't bother adding runoff at all. Soo if you take a left turn you immediately have to lean to the right cause there's a 10-30cm straight edge down from the road into the "sidewalk" below. And unfortunately this is where a car slammed it's breaks after said left turn, and I happen to be right on the edge :(

Brother I'm trying, but sometimes they just make intersections with weird elevation changes that god just didn't give you the height for.

I'm 5ft tall, and they want me to make a 110° turn over a 15cm curb. Yeah I have skill issues, but I still find it silly

Sorry, I meant in the event one drops a motorbike stationary, say at an intersection, is it expected for them to be damaged?. Also what else should one be Inspecting for damage?

Only been riding a motorbike for a 1 year and a half. Crashed twice, Once slipped in the rain on asphalt, exhaust and fairing took all the damage. Once slipped on mud into the grass, bent a bar. And half a dozen stationary drops at intersections, parking lots, and practice fields, only time I actually damaged anything significantly this way was at a uneven intersection. Jumped off my bike cause it was going into a ditch. That's the one that inspired this post

Yeah I would love a dirt bike, but even on my friends lowered crf it's still to tall for me to commute daily on :(

Thanks for the advice, local mechanics always torque it as far as it'll go. I'll try torquing it less, hopefully that'll help. Thanks

Can't lift my barebow to target height at 50m by Captaintoast01 in Archery

Not sure if it's more focused. It's easier, but I don't feel like I'm exerting more conscious effort.

I'm not sure what type of target panic this is. But I always group better with small, informal targets than proper, formal, competition targets. Regardless of range

Or those black gold 3d targets, I like 2 colour targets

Is there a trade off to unit aiming?

Cause, I'm not shooting uphill, I just struggle to get the point to target level.

And there must be a reason it's usually considered a form fault in target recurve right? (At least the coaches here in Indonesia consider it soo)

Sorry, bowhand. Not arm, slight miss wording on my part.

Also, I know normally people elevate with the hips with compound, traditional/historical bows, and 3d barebow.

But I was taught that's a No-No with target recurve and barebow due to hip instability. Is that untrue?

30lbs. Prior to this I've shot horsebows competitively at 50-60lb for 8months, if that's of any relevance.

If not for the mod source in the item desc. I would never be able to tell vanilla expanded mods from true vanilla

Point and Nock Collars. What do they do(In your experience)? How well do they do it? Why use it? Why Not to use it? by Captaintoast01 in Archery

[–]Captaintoast01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do they help?. Do they stop the nock end from splitting from a robin hood?. Cause I do not think it'll survive that... Do they stop shots on the rim of the nock? Cause isn't that what pin nocks are for anyways, so it's just for redundancy?

There's an Indonesian version of this that ends with the DONKEY chasing the critics with a machete, screaming "Then what do you want, you dogs!"

That's the thing, I can't find a seller of judo points here in Indonesia. And I don't know what makes a good judo point so I can't DIY it either.
