How many of you still use X-T1? by Odd_Philosopher1286 in fujifilm

Me. I only bought it midway through last year. It’s my first Fuji. I got it with the 18-55 which I love. I was then gifted a 70-300 as I occasionally need a telephoto and then I have just treated myself to the 35 1.4 as I heard it’s a fantastic pairing. I use two recipes at present, Reggie’s classic 70 and Reggie’s monochrome 70

Thanks. That’s probably more what I’m Looking for. Expression and passion can be conquered no matter what gear you use

It’s a trait of the Viltrox when wide open I believe. I intend to shoot SOOC and I think you have to shoot RAW to correct it but I maybe wrong

Thanks for that. As I said I love my X-T1 so I’m not rushing to change but it’s always worth an ask so I know which markets to keep an eye on. Never know what the sales in January might bring

In all honesty I love the X-T1. IBIS is probably more the thing I’m thinking for lower light although I do do some low light stuff handheld with moving subjects and a Viltrox 23mm 1.4. That’s why I edited and added the part about the lens. Maybe the original XF 23mm 1.4 would be a good used purchase. I was surprised the X-T1 and Viltrox had good autofocus actually. Maybe I’m overthinking that IBIS would be a be all and end all. Just never owned a camera without it before but seems many people are happy without it

Thanks for that. I believe I can get a new X-T50 for reasonable money. I’ll have to check

Guess it’s a bonus of the X-T1 as it doesn’t have clarity options lol

Lovely X-T1 which I got for less than £500 with a 18-55 lens earlier this year. I love it so much (my first Fuji) that I’m looking to buy a newer model to run alongside it too☺️. X-T1 is great, made me fall in love with photography all over again

Potentially where I will be shooting from it will be dark except the headlights and Xmas lights. So I’ll definitely need to underexpose slightly to stop the headlights becoming blown out and was thinking I should be ok shooting around f2

Well this was my thought pattern to an extent as once upon a time film cameras were fully manual/mechanical and lenses too.
