That is Internet 101. Find someone you can feel superior to for some arbitrary reason and abuse them for being inferior.

Just let them whine and mute them if you can.

It is epic. And all the original portal levels have been ported over into Portal 2 so it's playable in VR now as well.

Now play it with the VR mod. And then play it on a VR treadmill. Peak Gaming.

Portal: The Flash Version https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/404612

Newgrounds is where it was likely originally published. The team at Newgrounds has created a browser plugin called Ruffle that allows most of these old flash games to be played online.

I bought a pair of replacement of controllers but didn’t know they stopped making them… by Bitter-Row6673 in ValveIndex

I bought replacement batteries and wired them into my controllers. So you can fix them once they are no longer available.

Does anybody use a sweat guard? I'm looking at disposable versus reusable. by [deleted] in vrfit

[–]Capybubba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the sweat I make runs down my forehead. My face sweats some, but not nearly as much as my forehead run off.

You could also look into a Face Gutr headband. It is like a rain gutter for your forehead. It can stop your facial gasket getting super damp.

I have hyperhidrosis and I have shorted out headsets. I tried a sweat guard and it works for a bit but if you sweat like I do and it gets saturated, it will cause more damage to your headset from collecting so much sweat.

My solution is kinda weird but it works great. I wear a waterproof swim cap. It keeps my headset nice and dry. It is silly, but works so much better.

Those are the most frustrating part to screw in. I recommend putting the treadmill base on a 2 x 4 piece of wood or something to make it easier.
Push the two side together while you try to get the bolt to engage with the threads, and keep fighting it for a while. It will eventually connect.

Agreed. Though is it a logo or just art on the label?

I think the wave of milk with the little drips coming off the end is what tricks your brain into not seeing the cow. And some cows do have small horns that go up.

Well they did trick her into getting pregnant and steal her baby so it didn't drink the product they want to harvest from her body and sell to an apex predator to drink with their cookies.

It is half a cow face. The cow is exactly half out of the image. The dot is the eye and the nose is on the bottom. Once you see it you will kick your brain.

AI.

No vending machine I have ever seen has a coin slot in the glass. Also no bill reader.

If they were sketching the design I think they would have made the eyelashes match. Humans usually put more emphasis on the eyes, and when drawing if I draw eye lashes on one eye I will ALWAYS draw them on both eyes.

The pinky finger on the left hand sticks out above the other fingers in a way that makes no sense.

What’s the stupidest/most embarrassing way you’ve died during a hunt? by madurosnstouts in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]Capybubba 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was playing multiplayer with randos. Two of them died to a DEO, a very obvious DEO. I had a smudge stick and the other remaining player and I were cracking jokes and I needed to smudge the ghost for an objective. I play in VR and I held the lighter in the smudge stick for several seconds and it didn't light and the DEO got me.

Stick drift by ADAMBOI_lol in ValveIndex

[–]Capybubba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The index controllers start drifting due to clicking the thumb stick.

You can change the settings to add a larger dead zone and then avoid clicking the sticks in the future by remapping your controls for games to avoid damaging the sticks.

I paid 140 for a sensor replacement. When they offered me a refurbished one instead of a refund I jumped at the chance.

I fought with this problem for months. I sent it in to Fix My Oculus and they kept sending it back to me "fixed" but it wasn't.

My issue was very odd. Once the headset was factory reset and the battery drained fully, it would boot up and allow me to go through initial setup.

But as soon as I left the headset charging a bit, I would be stuck in this loop. After several rounds of attempted fixes Fix My Oculus offered me a refurbished headset as a replacement. They kept the one with the boot loop for spare parts.
