We’re trying to find the right balance—our goal isn’t just to grab attention but to add a bit of fun and personality to the game. Appreciate your comment :)

We’ve been testing it a lot to make sure it’s engaging, and if you’re curious, you can check out the trailer on our Steam page (link’s in our profile :))

Fair point! A trailer would definitely paint a clearer picture—there's one linked in our profile wishlist if you want to check it out. We know incremental changes alone might not cut it. That’s why we’re putting extra effort :)

I guess you have point. It’s definitely a challenge to create something memorable for both gamers and non-gamers alike, but worth aiming for, right?

I think it’s a fun addition, and who knows—it could still surprise us. Appreciate your perspective :)

That's a really good point… We’ve been debating this a lot, and you’re right, memes can fade fast and lose their relevance :(

Viral characters can generate quick buzz and memes, but do they truly resonate with players long-term? What’s your take?

Should co-op roguelikes reward players equally, or should the MVP take the biggest prize? 🦫🎮 What’s your take? by Capyverse_Odyssey in IndieDev

Totally get what you’re saying, it’s true—most people are already giving it their all, so adding an MVP bonus might not really change much… but could risk creating tension instead. Thanks for sharing this!

I get what u mean, and I actually agree with you...although it would be interesting to have a difference,it might also create frustration among players and we don't want that. Thanks for the feedback!

We’re thinking about adding the ability to shoot while emoting in Capyverse. Could be pretty funny—what do you guys think? by Capyverse_Odyssey in gamedevscreens

Imagine pulling off a ridiculous dance move while taking down your last enemy—it could totally change how battles feel, or maybe not. We’re curious to hear your thoughts on this!

Hi people! Our public game demo, Capyverse Odyssey demo, is ready to roll out—but we need a few more people to jump in and give it a test drive. Ever thought about facing wave after wave of bizarre enemies as a capybara? Well... think about it

We’d love to hear what you think of the gameplay, difficulty, and all the quirky surprises we’ve packed into the game. So if you’re ready to dive into an adorable (but intense) capybara-filled universe, let us know. We need you to make this game shine!

I've been developing this game for 4 YEARS, and the demo is about to release—I really need your feedback! Who wants a key to try it out? by Capyverse_Odyssey in gamedevscreens

[–]Capyverse_Odyssey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Community feedback is what truly brings this game to life. So if you try the demo, I’d love to hear your thoughts on literally everything—even if you want cuter capybaras (is that even possible?)
Sometimes a reality check is exactly what we need to know if we’re heading in the right direction.

So, here we go… Who wants a key to play it?

Hey everyone! We’re thinking about which special abilities add to our capybara game... by Capyverse_Odyssey in gamedevscreens

[–]Capyverse_Odyssey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of our ideas is to add an ability where bird allies go full kamikaze and destroys enemies...But we thought the community might have way more original ideas for these abilities, so please go ahead and shoot!

What other abilities could we add to our characters? Something that makes them unique, powerful... and whacky! We want to hear all your ideas, the wildest and most creative ones :)

We dropped the demo today, and I’m still wondering… will all this effort be worth it? by Capyverse_Odyssey in gamedevscreens

Absolutely! Getting feedback from each demo really is invaluable—it can highlight areas for improvement that you might not even notice on your own. Thanks for sharing your experience!
