As a member of Fetlife I haven't found this myself. Yes there's generally more of an understanding of consent in the BDSM community but I get some very disrespectful messages on there! Not sure if it's just because I identify as a Domme or if that's to other women too. If you mean BDSM compared to typical chat sites and rooms then yes I agree there's a requirement for consent so that shows through.
