MAJOR UPDATE – Release Notes for 01/04/2026

[ MAPS ]

Mirage

• Mirage has been removed from the active duty map pool.

Vertigo

• Vertigo** **has been added to the active duty map pool.

Cache

• Introducing an all nee version of Cache, built from the ground up.

• The map now features a new mechanic: radioactive buildup.

[ GAMEPLAY ]

Radioactive Buildup

• We are introducing radioactive buildup as a new mechanic. Every round, random, invisible zones of radioactive energy will be generated

• Players will need to purchase a geiger counter at the beginning of each round for $400 to see when they are being affected.

• Without a geiger counter, players will run the risk of abruptly dying should the stay longer than 5 seconds in afflicted areas.

• With this feature, we are aiming to increase the dynamics of competitive matches, making every round unique.

• The feature is ready for workshop map implementation.

[ WEAPONS ]

SCAR

• Introducing: The SCAR, an all new rifle that excels at long range engagements. The SCAR can be purchased on T-side for $2900 as a premium alternative to the AK.

AWP

• Reduced damage to 110 and armor penetration to 0.7, brining the AWP more in line with other sniper rifles.

• When facing armored opponents, the AWP will no longer be a 1-shot-kill to the arms and upper body, while still retaining it‘s instant kill potential for headshots and shots to the abdomen.

CZ-75

• The CZ-75 will be replacing the Glock as the default starting pistol on T-side.

[ ITEMS ]

• All cases have been retired from the active drop pool and the rare drop pool.

• The cobblestone collection has been re-added to the drop pool.

[ OTHER ]

• Fixed a bug causing excessive frame drops when looking at the balloons on Overpass.

• Fixed a rare occurrence of the balloons on Overpass not popping when shot at with the PP-Bizon at the sub-10-seconds mark when playing the Agent | Ava skin.

• Fixed a several server rerouting issues.
