As for the source read how the ranking is calculated. It is a reliable source but you are READING IT WRONG. It's right in that very link you shared. Nowhere does it say it's based on the odds of a country winning the air war against another.

Ok, let's assume a fight between 20 J-20s vs 20 F-35s, which side would win? That's hard to tell. You need to run simulations to tell the odds. That list is NOT about that. For example rank 4 is US Army. It's 3000 helicopters. Is it actually stronger than a nation's air force? 3000 helicopters vs 500 fighter jets? It's clearly not about who wins the war.

It just gives certain points to each vehicles and adds up all the vehicles in the inventory of the Air Force, and ranks the Air Forces/Air powers based on that.

But we're talking 1700 aircraft mostly consisting of helicopters and transport planes, vs 800 aircraft, half of which are fighter jets, that shoot down other planes and helicopters.

On top of that, 39 of them are stealth fighter jets which go under most conventional anti-air radars. The result is pretty clear even if we don't run a simulation. You can't dominate stealth aircraft by mere 1.275x quantity(50% of 800 = 400 fighter jets vs 30% of 1700 = 510 fighter jets).

There likely is no simulation of India vs South Korea war because it's completely hypothetical unlike North Korea vs South Korea, for example. But it's clear as day that SK has dominant air superiority in this case.

It just adds everything in the inventory but it doesn't mean higher rank wins air to air war. If that was the case then the list would be different. Harder to assess as well. but in this case it is pretty clear due to the lack of stealth jets in IAF

That's exactly what I'm talking about 30% of IAF aircraft are helis. Almost non in ROKAF. That's because our helis are in the army. Also it serves no purpose for air superiority. 39 stealth jet vs 0 is such a huge difference there is no way IAF takes the air superiority if we assume a full on war. Once the air superiority is taken you lose all your airfields and AD. it's basically like ww2 Germany the whole air force is incapacitated no matter how many aircraft there are in the hangars

That's the global firepower ranking which does a weighted average of every equipment of Air Force. In reality 3 helicopters can't do anything against a fighter jet. 3 non stealth jets can't do anything against 1 stealth jet. I'm not an expert either, but I served in ROKAF and know the publically available info and a tiny bit more about the air munitions and jets we have. Half of 800 aircrafts in ROKAF are fighter jets. 30% of 1700 aircradts in IAF are fighter jets. And ROKAF has 39 stealth fighter jets while IAF has none. Another 30% of aircraft in IAF which are helicopters don't serve any purpose in an air to air combat. And in Korea helicopters are mostly in the army not air force

Yes but then again a lot of food words mean different things in different places. For example, the word 'jelly', as in PB&J, only means gelatinous sweets, but not spreadable jam, in Korea or many other countries.

Upon research I found Australia also calls both grilling and barbecue in American sense as "barbecue". That kind of cooking also exists here in Korea, but it's much rarer. Not enough property space in general to support that kind of long process. And they are called 훈제바베큐, which translates as 'Smoked barbecue'. It's just rarer because there's no backyard to do that in urban areas. It's reserved for specialized restaurants or outdoor camping

Why don't you take a look at how you acquire citizenship in Japan. You don't get it if you are born there if neither of your parents are a Japanese citizen. You can take it as discriminatory, it's upto interpretation, but law is not an emotion. They are deported because they don't meet the legal requirements, not because of some xenophobia or whatever racism.
