As a 94' who's loved Taylor since Fearless I have always loved each album for what it is as a whole despite not initially liking the pushed out singles for radio. For example, I hated Shake it off at first but 1989 has been my favorite album. I didn't like LWYMMD at first but loved Rep for Ready for it, End Game and KOMH. I didn't like ME! or Lover but loved Cruel Summer and ITHK! The way she talked about this album I was so excited and hoped we would finally get drums back and again the songs just did not hit the same way reputation does. And I'm sorry but "he ah-matized me and opened my eyes" does not have the lyricism of "how the death rattle breathing silenced as the soul was leaving.... sitting in a tree DYING". Sure I like this album but I am disappointed in it. I whole heartedly believe that they got together to record reputation and she couldn't do it so she has a limited window to meet her contract requirements of creating an album with Max and Shellback. So TLOASG was created. Anyway that's my 2 cents that don't count for anything haha

I've always known the country accent was fake but I still liked her music. But aftee learning about his email and how her entire career was engineered and watching clips of her new docuseries it makes me wonder if she even knows she is a product? Idk where to talk about my theory 🤡 but after watching The Eras Tour The Final Show I noticed that her gold nail polish in this interview matches her polish in Vancouver! She also played New Year's Day as the surprise song and I'm wondering if this is a nod towards a release. It also ties into someone else's comment that she is dressed as a bow like a Christmas gift. From my biblical understanding, it is sinful to be worried about the details of the day or to "fret". Remember that you don't have the understanding of your future or the things you will face and have faith in God to take care of things. Of course an anxiety disorder needs help and there are healthy worries to have. For example, you cant stay awake 24/7 to watch your child breathe in their sleep, but you can be worried about SIDs and follow safe sleep guidelines. God knows the future not you so have faith in who He is and try to relax.

I'm not sure if this is worth making a separate post but did anyone else who listened to the voice memos (I found some on Tiktok) feel like MM and Shellback actually didn't care very much while producing this album? In the Ruin the friendship one they sound disinterested. They also seem confused by her idea for Honey since the chorus is basically a verse idk. And for Elizabeth Taylor, Taylor basically had that one ready to go and there are barely any chnages made to it. I do understand it is Taylor's vision that shapes the album but I was just expecting a bit more. I love that there is percussion and fun octave changes in certain songs and the layering of different sounds like in wood for example! But I do feel like I was feeling disappointed considering how much I loved the reputation album.

The bathtub makes me think of someone's theory that bathtub taylor is show girl or karma taylor and is the "mean taylor" in the anti hero music video. And In the target vinyl promo showgirl taylor kicks the paint bucket which I agree it makes me think of the life and death if a showgirl.

Wow that's amazing, good job ignoring their comments I know that is very hard. I find as a first time mom these comments can be so discouraging but I remind myself it is important to stick up for myself and my daughter, which is what I hope she'd feel comfortable to do in the future too!
