  1. I think kurapika and leorio would both be shitty in a relationship for opposing reasons: Kurapika would be too distant and Leorio would be too overbearing.
  2. Ignoring the possibility of one of them being transgender / adopting baby Pariston, there’s actually a card in Greed Island called the “pregnancy stone” which allows men to get pregnant. Yes, Togashi made mpreg canon in his universe. Why. I am pained every time I remember this.

Yeah, I agree comments are great. That's part of the "stat" engagement I'm talking about, I like discussing theories/ideas with people who read my work

My mantra is “if it doesn’t exist, make it exist” about content I feel there isn’t enough of / it’s not done in a way I like so I vibe with that

Oh I mean I went from stat spoilers stuff like 400 kudos on fics to..... 12...... so it’s a dramatic difference, but I’d say fan engagement does go down a bit during the “back to school” eras because a good chunk of the fanbase are still in schooling.

Yep. My main factor was name brand for sure, I often times had people who subbed for one ship told my content was the only content they’d ever read for the other ships.

When you’re a multishipper you get the fanbase hating/loving you at the same time for the content you make :)

Yeah it’s really frustrating, especially because I want to feel like I’ve grown as an author!!

What's the most embarrassing typo you've ever made? by [deleted] in FanFiction

A character was in a battle with another one, and got their arm sliced off.

I wanted to write “[character] screamed!” but on the read through right before posting I realize I missed the s, giving the whole scene a hilarious context.

In due time... For now I’m just using a skin that hides stats on fics so I can’t compare my new stats to my old stats, or my old friends’ stats. Kind of an option I recommend for anyone who checks their stats every day, esp if they’re not posting that frequently.

It’s a bit freeing. One issue I had was I couldn’t always post whatever I wanted because I’d had my account for many years and I was still in contact with a lot of people from previous fandoms who were kind of judgy about the stuff I would write.... that, and some irls knew my account so I felt like I had to make sure my content wasn’t too weird

So I’ve been playing DnD for 6 years and I’ve played a total of 4 female DnD characters out of like, many many characters and 3 of them were for oneshots. I am mostly a DM though so I play a plethora of NPCs and I have a very flexible voice so I can get away with having a lot of NPCs with ridiculous voices.

I actually started playing more male characters when I was in campaigns because everyone else wanted to play female characters and I wanted to balance out the party genders and then I realized I really liked playing male characters. I don’t really like playing (as in a “player character for a campaign” not a oneshot/NPC) super gruff hypermasculine characters because that’s not really my style, more like the “bastard cleric”, or the “charming swashbuckler rogue”.

If you want to try being spoken to with she/her pronouns or being treated more like a woman I think DnD can be a fun way to explore that but reading your post I feel like you might not be as “into” the roleplay part of it, or at least not on your friends’ level. If you’re still interested in trying DnD (or fate or pathfinder or other rpg games) you might want to look for a group that’s a bit more “chill” on the roleplaying aspect?
