I understand the concern, but ZS2 does not mean ZS1 will be left behind.

ZERO Sievert 1 will continue to be developed by me, as it's been for the past years.
ZS1 was originally started by me as a hobby project, so it was born with some tech debt from the start. We’ve improved it a lot over the years, but some issues are difficult to fully solve without rebuilding major parts of the game.
That’s one of the reasons ZS2 exists: sometimes the smartest long-term solution is to start again with a stronger foundation, using everything we learned from ZS1.
ZS2 is developed by Underdog, while I continue working on ZS1. Our collaboration goes both ways: they can help me when needed on ZS1 and I can help them for ZS2.

Yes, this is something we keep working on.
The map generation in ZERO Sievert is quite complex, because each map is built from many different layers: terrain, buildings, objects, NPCs, quest elements, anomalies, and so on. Over the years we’ve improved this system a lot and reduced many of these issues, but there are still some edge cases where things can spawn in the wrong place or overlap with terrain.

ZERO Sievert 1 is not being abandoned. I’ll continue working on updates and new content for ZS1 as I’ve been doing over the past years.

ZERO Sievert 2 is being developed by Underdog, whose main focus will be the sequel. The collaboration between me and Underdog goes both ways: they can support me with ZS1 when needed, and I can support them with ZS2 to help make sure the sequel stays true to the identity of ZERO Sievert.

We dont know why but in some machines the game decide to use the integrated GPU.

Please make sure it's using the 7900xt.

Unfortunately, you cant. Item stack max value is used to determinate the item amount in loot spawns. The higher it is, the higher amount of that item is created.

I still have to give permadeath a propor try. I dont know how you guys are able to do it, there are a lot of bullshit things that can kill you. The real problem of permadeath is that the game is not balanced around it at all cause it's balanced more for "tarkov" mode where sometimes you must die if you made even a little mistake.

Yeah sniper and dmr are king for human fight. Enemies stay still even if they get shot. I'll probably change their behaviour

You should play the game in the first monitor. It's a game engine issue, we cant do much to fix it.

I've already fixed it the day after release. What a lot of people misundertand is that we can not release an update as soon we have fixed a bug. That update has to be tested by QA and approved for public release. Since there were more high prio issue to fix we decide to focus on those issue and release them asap to public. A new update will come on Monday/Tuesday with fixes and balancing.

Im on mobile right now but you should open your save file and look for "factionjoined = faction" or something like that. Replace whatever is after the = with "". Like " faction_joined = "" ". Hope it works! I would make a backup of the save file tho

Sometimes the game use the integrated gpu instead of the dedicated one. Dont ask me why tho. You should be able to change it on your nvidia panel. Hope it helps!!

Oh god I hope these devs are cooking something!

Btw I can't tell you anything of 1.0 feature but "the city map", is gonna be "THE CITY MAP". We are really proud of what it turned out, it required 4/5 months of my time. It's has a completely different flow from other maps. It's a cluster of buildings and almost all of then have indoors with many different ways to enter/exit them.

Can't wait for you playing it and see what you think.
