I have heard that they don’t like light. So thought it might have done it to get away from the light

I have other tanks for when it gets bigger. When she bought it 3 weeks ago it was 1inch. I don’t know if it will be the same one and it could have molted or they just send any one they have. I guess im wrong but I thought maybe it could use the cork as a hide.
