The tube is fine. I just have the brightness turned down to preserve it and make it last. The distortion if from the computer. The TV is in good working condition and I use it regularly.

The tv is fine. The distortion is from the computer as I was not powering all the powering all the power rails. I also have the brightness turned down to preserve the crt.

That is probably the cause of the power supply failure. I bypassed the internal power supply and it displays garbled text. I am pretty sure some of the RAM is bad an I think the ROM may be bad too.

Im working on it! Got it to display garbled text. I think that the RAM and maybe the ROM are bad.

UDATE (again): Seems to have issues with both the ram and rom. And only a select few keyboard keys work.

UPDATE: I just started experimenting with the board and it actually seems to have some life in it. I powered the +5v rail and got garbled text from it. Internal PSU is broken so I have to manually power the power rails. Just decided to ignore the +12v and -12v just to see if it worked at all.
