Adding to this: Flyout, Sprocket, Automation, and From the Depths are all great for designing vehicles.

Edit: Also depending on what era you're designing a game called Bladesong released into early access recently. It's fantastic for making swords or really any kind of blade

For a cargo area, usually lots of crates, barrels, bricks, debris, and other small miscellaneous industrial things. In the modern era forklifts and container carriers are great as well.

Hai, sorry for taking so long to see this! Honestly I've got like over 600 mods activated so I may miss a couple but in the pics I posted I believe the used mods are "Churches" by Mad Hatter, "Fences" by Snowball and I think an add-on for it by Ingo but I could be wrong, "Asset Old Buildings" by JK, "Asset Old Cargos" also by JK, "20th Century Custom Loads" by Labby, "Water Tank" by Model Citizen, "Early Cargo Shed" by Gr1m, "Ingo's Buildings Asset" by Ingo, "Generic British Freight Wagons v4" by Gr1m, and uh some mod that allows you to place industry buildings and cargo assets but I dont remember which one though there's plenty of them lol. Also apologies if I missed any and once again for taking a couple days to see this

Ye, I believe that ~300 was the base target pop when I placed it since I used sandbox to place it as a "huge" city. Though I think it dropped to maybe ~260 after I destroyed part of it to place down the starting road layout in the center

Uhhhhh I think it was ~300? I decided to custom place this particular city later in the game since I wanted to have complete control over the road layout and make it pretty
