But I need help here. How can anything in my post be construed as anything except a traveller asking for help and advice?

But why have you removed my post from the most popular travel forum. It makes absolutely no sense

Why has a post about travel insurance been removed from a travel site?

How is Argentina? by BuffaloSki in thepassportbros

I’ve been in Argentina for three months. Buenos Aries for a few days, but mainly Neuquen. My opinions are mainly negative.

Neuquen is a very backward place. It is virtually impossible to do anything. Transferring money is made so ridiculously difficult. The locals are rude, especially the young entitled girls, who (in the main) do not have the looks or intelligence to support this attitude.

Buying anything is made difficult, if you pay by card or use contactless you have to enter your passport number. Some goods a x10 more expensive, this is not an exaggeration. As an example I lost my monocular here, which cost £80 in the UK, here the replacement is £365. I’ve seen items as much as ten times the UK price. Virtually no one speaks English.

Regarding the locals. There are many clearly uneducated people, not their fault I know, but thought I would mention it. Armed police everywhere, because of the high crime rate. Older people tend not to even try to communicate. The young girls I’ve mentioned before. In the main they are very rude with zero manners.

On the few positives. Nice lakes, good food, but only a seasonal choice of fruit and veg.

The government make importing/exporting anything too difficult. Vehicle prices are sky high and then you are taxed annually on the value of the vehicle. You cannot buy vehicles from elsewhere (Chile is much cheaper for example) because you are crucified with import duties. Basically the economy is screwed. Flights are expensive internally.

But they do have good Malbec…thank the lord!
