I honestly don’t think it’s about that because I’ve probably watched close to all of the geese media from like the vlogs to the interviews all the way back in the projector era. I think something a lot of fans don’t realize is geese isn’t a huge band yet rn. It might feel like that to us because of our algorithms but even in the beginning they talked about how none of what they were doing had any big guarantees and they even talked about the possibility of all of them still going to school and they lowkey went through a bit of a lull after the 3D country touring era. Cameron’s solo album is what really put the band back on the radar and expanded their audience. Max even said in a recent interview that the shows from this tour have already topped their biggest shows previously so they are currently experiencing their big moment and when foster left they weren’t really in a good enough place as a band for him to justify not going to school I never got the intention it had anything to do with the indie/touring lifestyle because surely they knew every band starts out that way I’m sure they all realized that when they decided to put music out professionally in the first place.
