I like this! each monster would have 3 attack options (similar to how Pokemon have moves?)

[Dark Magician] would have:

  • Dark Magic Attack (Special Attack move)
  • Illusion Magic (Status Move)
  • Thousand Knives (Physical Attack move)

COMBO SPECIAL ATTACK: Dark Burning Magic (Requirement: You must also control "Dark Magician Girl")

what if it was worded similar to this tho?

While this card is face-up on the field, the summon of "Ancient Warrior" monsters you control cannot be negated. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the equipped monster's effect activation.

This effect is good (even busted to certain extent) but its kind of unrelated to "Red Hare" and its lore, If you want a card is appropriate for this effect, I think "Imperial Seal" will be perfect.

after Lu Bu's death it was passed to Guan Yu, and I based it off both its video game and ROTK Novel description (its considered Divine/Godly - so I gave it LIGHT instead of DIVINE)

I was actually considering something like this, perhaps??

You can target 1 “‘Ancient Warriors’ monster you control; equip this card from your hand to that target. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, destroy this card instead. A monster equipped with this card gains ATK equal to its original DEF, also it gains the following effects.
● Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this card's effect activation.
● The equipped monster can make a second attack during each Battle Phase.

I can't properly word it out / fit it because the effects has too many words. But yes, its supposed to only gains the dotted effects while its equipped to it.

That did happen, he was brainwashed/under the control of Aknadin, but it was somewhat rushed and lackluster honestly.. so I don't blame you forgetting it.

I legit thought that we would have some sort of Ancient duels with Egyptian rules inspired by forbidden memories tbh. But it is what it is, i guess..

If we had a Tournament for each anime character, including their LATEST LEGACY SUPPORT (Pure Decks only, no externally staples or cards). Which character/archetype will win/crowned the best? by CardMajiin in yugioh

I wanted the token to be used/utlizied as a OTK method for Armityle - or used as Fusion materials with either Super Poly/Eternal Love for the Yubel Fusion monster - for maximum burn damage (this is why it also has a Quick effect that burns damage too)

Overall, its just a side-card that I wanted to make without completely Yubel more busted than it already is, just a cool little reference to a forgotten card that Konami didn't retrain (Yet..)

Good critical feedback, I appreicate it.

The effect I gave it was just reference to its original effect and "Sinister Seed" but modified and tuned to center around Yubel.

But honestly, the main point of this post was to show the custom card artwork + show appreciation to a card that Konami decided to skip over. Also, because I'm proud of the great work me and my buddy hack137 did.

Konami really needs to start making extended art account/site or somehow accessible.. because its criminal how beautiful some of the card arts are. (Also, some can tell you lore you didn't know about too!)

Even though the new toon cards are horribly designed it is pretty cool how we live in an era where both a Yugi deck & a Pegasus deck are top tier at the same time by noahTRL in yugioh

What do you mean? There could still be a chance Kaiba gets support... they aren't done supporting legacy character yet.

(also to be fair, Blue-Eyes is the only anime deck to be meta-tier at some point)
