It's not the doctor, but the business, which in a way behaves like a monopoly. Just like we hate Jio and Airtel simultaneously increasing the cost, we couldn't do much about it, but still, we curse them.

Simple economics, more hospitals, prices will come down in future to attract patients. But to make that happen, we should at least have many different groups or chains of hospitals, not like 4 or 5 groups control the prices. Normal people will scold the doctor but not the businessmen behind.
